this video fails to mention ridiculous housing costs averaging about 1 mill for a house. tons of rich, stuck up snobs. lots of 16 year olds with luxury cars. a school system where if you dont fit the mold they don't care. but yeah other than all those things Newton is a dream.
Jon-Michael Berglund Ouch. So strange. When I grew up there, in the sixties and seventies, Newton was at least as beautiful then as now, but there were quite a lot of working class, lower to upper middle class families. I see that my old house in Waban, which I think my dad sold for $67,000 in 1975 is listed at $1.5 million.
@@jameshallgring2326 yeah back then regular middle class people could afford to rent or buy in newton. Parts of newton that used to be affordable, like Newton Upper Falls are just as expensive as the rest of newton now. My father who was a college professor (teachers do not make much money)) was able to buy a 10 room house near Chrystal lake for $27,000. It is now worth 1.3 million dollars.
Newton is a typical a****** liberal Massachusetts town. They are all for diversity and inclusion but there are no poor black or Hispanic people living there.
i live in newton and some of tho's places aren't even in newton, newton isn't really that cool and awesome at all, nothing happen's there, and the tax and rent goes through the roof, and the west newton cinema is really small and old and not up to date with any of their movies and i forgot, that cinema SUCKS ASS. and no is that happy and the song on this video sucks and Newton may be a safe place to live but its not the best place to live .....
