Hi guys been following for several years but this is the first time I have reached out. Your coming in loud and clear.

Congratulations and welcome to the SKP Coop system. We are members in the Park of the Sierras SKP coop in California 30 miles east of Fresno right of SR41 45 minutes from the north entrance of Yosemite National Park. Though pretty much all SKP parks are great Park of the Sierras is very special built in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. The hotlist here is pretty short if you guys know people that are looking for a site in a coop. You have a good chance of getting into a membership within a few months to a year. The weather is decent, some hotter days in summer and a few freeze days in winter, but you have to be 55+ here. Plenty vegetation here and spacious sites (no piano keyboard) make it more feel like an northern Arizona state park. You should check it out when you are in California. One of the things I like about Benson is the quirky little radio station there that plays a very eclectic mix of country & western music - 97.7 FM - KAVV - The Cave. My wife and I discovered it while staying at one of the excellent rental cabins at Kartchner Caverns. I found their streaming Internet feed and now listen from our home in the Phoenix area. Ha, you explained all the same reasons why we love the area. Living just down the road from you guys with the same view.

We stayed at one of the SKP parks in Oregon and WA. Lovely parks!!!! So well maintained and cheap to stay at! Just be a member of Escapees and you can rent a spot when available. The one in WA has visitor parking always with hookups and without.

Disappointing to hear you had “nay sayers” on your live chat although you handled this in a very positive & healthy way. Always good info that you share with folks. Stay positive! 😀

I live right up the road off I10 at the jsix/mescal exit (197) Don't forget to check out Elgin Az for great wine. Also check out Benson Grill at the golf course for a great view . Enjoy our town and if you bump in to a old 70yr guy at Safeway or Walmart that will be me

Hey guys! Been following you for a LOOOONG time since before WE went full time in our RV. I've learned a lot from you guys. We are leaving our spot in north Georgia mountains, Crossing Creeks RV Resort, to go to our other spot in Fort Meyers, Cypress Trail RV resort. If you're gonna be in the north Georgia area between mid-February and the end of March you are welcome to stay on our lot for free!

And near WINERIES in Sonoita Az! Gotta checkout hops n vines, sonoita vineyards, Wilhelm, and a bunch of others. Are you getting all the rain. It’s a very wet winter in the valley. I love your park and it’s the perfect location. Congratulations and I’m glad you like AZ too. It’s not for everyone, but I feel it has a beauty of it’s own. Please be careful with your kitty, lots of predators in our beautiful desert. It’s not a soft, or safe beauty.

Sorry I missed your live broadcast. Thanks it is always fun to watch you two. Since you know FL you may have solar contacts in FL. We had AM Solar install 810W on our MH in 2014. All was fine until two years ago and now the Amps into the batteries have dropped to just a few a day. I can’t seem to find anyone to look at it to repair or replace / upgrade it. Any suggestions? Thanks for the videos. Oh, I came across my old PalmPilot a few months ago, how we have changed.

We stayed there last year for a week. Great place but we decided on Rainbow acres near Quartzite. I would recommend anyone looking for a southern base to check it out and compare the two. Many differences but it depends on what you are looking for. Many places available and no rules. Check it out.

Sorry we missed the live stream! Would you believe we drove by SKP today on our way to Tombstone! You are SO right about Benson and that there is so much to do in the area. We’re at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base until 1/3. We are going to do some boondocking and we have to see Quartzite! We HAVE to try the Mexican restaurant you recommend before we leave the area.

The place & setup looks great!... You quoted $12,000 as a lot price... But the SKP website shows a lot for sale for +$42,000... Is this the seller asking price for lot and improvements?... I assume then you paid more than $12,000?... Are you allowed to paint your casita another color? ;-)
