Okogie is a great defender he’ll start, did you watch playoffs? Book first 2 rounds was one of the best played defensively, let alone how hot he was, KD is great defensively especially when he’s up against smaller opponents, and Beal isn’t great but coming from a Chris Paul fan, his legs 8-9 years younger, hopefully Frank can give ayton some confidence back but ayton at his best is a solid defender and displayed it against Jokic in 2021

@@chrispaul6522 You asked me If I watched playoffs and brought up Okogie saying he’s gonna start which is a confusing and bold statement. He’s a great defender but he got played outta the starting lineup and saw his minutes shrink in playoffs due to teams daring him to shoot. I’d be shocked if he starts this upcoming season with Suns probably looking to upgrade that starting spot on the lineup. No complaints on Book, he held his own on defense for sure. Disagree on the KD one, I thought he was a little below average-average on defense during the playoffs but that could be due to the ankle injury he came back from so we’ll see. Vogel could definitely improve Ayton for sure but I don’t think he’ll ever have a series like that again against Jokic purely because Jokic has improved a lot since 2021.

@@tomas4life350 that’s really Okogie’s only flaw, and it’s like again man I love cp3 obviously that’s my favorite player but I’m not bias or delusional and he wasn’t shooting all that great either and I think with Beal KD and Book, and possibly ayton who people underrate his midrange game completely, you won’t need Okogie to Hit probably more than a 3 a game especially if they resign Craig and get some other efficient shooters as well. Defensively he wasn’t bad at all in the playoffs but probably could’ve been better I also think Aaron Gordon wore him down more then he expected but the ankle injury was probably a contributor, he played great defense the first few games when they got him before he went down
