@@cbnagesh Pretty sure it doesn't uniquely. I certainly got to a stage where I had multiple possible solutions that were only resolved after I realised there was an anti-king constraint.
Ok, so if it makes you feel any better Bremster, before solving this puzzle, I watched the intro to your video including your remark “don’t forget the anti-king”. And guess what? I STILL FORGOT IT!! 🤦🏻😂😂😂 But then again I’m 68 years old, so I have an excuse 😂😂
I read the rules. Don't forget the anti-king, I reminded myself. I listened to the intro. Again, don't forget the anti-king. So what do I do? Forget about the anti-king until about the same place in the solve that you remembered it. But I did remember it and I did finish the solve. I actually kind of liked it that way. It forced me to find things and make deductions that could be found. And I have learned that if I get really close to the end and seem to get stuck, revisit the rules. I actually think that might be a cool puzzle feature. Kind of like fog puzzles, don't reveal a rule until you get to the point where you need the rule.
It's not hard to miss a constraint when you don't have to use it till the end to solve to a certain point. I got stuck at the same spot, looked at your video solve for the first time, and THAT is when I re-read the rules and saw the anti-king. I tried chains and they all led to deadly patterns.
Really glad you enjoyed this puzzle until that point with the anti-king! I may have done the same thing when re-solving this puzzle recently, so I definitely get the frustration. It's always nice to see how differently we go about solving puzzles!
It is ok I am always forgeting rules... my time was good because you remind me and I paid more attention! I coloured all the cells and I don't like to take out the colours because the full white after the colouring make me lost 😅 At 29:23 I did laugh, sorry 😅 Maybe you should try place a chess piece in the table like Mark does, but it doesn't work all the time for him thou 😂 Thanks 🤗
Oh so often, a particular rule is forgotten. Someone had to send Mark a chess piece to remind him of the knight's-move constraint. Later: I finished the puzzle. I think that I used the king's-move constraint a total of three times. The final time resolved the various pairs in the endgame. Fifteen minutes less time? I disagree. Perhaps five minutes or so less time. So much was done without needing the constraint.
31:27 not too bad , shame it didn't have something like a kings move constraint to make it easier 😂. I see how easy it is to forget stuff like that when your having fun and on a roll.
Whoo, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who forgets constraints! 😄 I've done the same so, so many times... will admit when I solved this, I fortunately didn't and completed it in 9:32, which I suspect is around how fast BremSter would have solved it (sans explanation). 🙂 Very nice puzzle from Stine, many thanks to them!
Hah, I "solved" puzzles using anti-knight when it was anti-king and vice versa. It's so easy to forget a constraint when there is nothing on screen to reminds you! 😂😂😂
