I found out about Arcimoto around the time that I found Elio. Even though Elio badly disappointed me, despite having a product that would sell like hotcakes, Arcimoto has never let me down when it comes to transparency, hitting targets, and taking the time to make sure everything is right. Nice work. Paul could learn a thing or two dozen from you, Mark.

Just over 2:30 into the video I had to stop and make a couple of call-outs. First the seatbelts at the beginning look dangerous. I would not want two crisscrossing seatbelts anywhere near my neck. Fast stop and you will have burn marks on both sides of your neck. Second, the Suburban being used to tow the trailer and haul a bunch of people is very efficient. Using the suburban to drive one person 3 blocks down the road for a loaf of bread, is not efficient. So far I am sceptical about the quality of the design work being done.

Here is what happening in US, is that average folks medium salary is not going up and to make most of your life-long investments for your family is to have some sort of transportation device that is breaking your bank, which could different depending on your climate zone of cause. But not all family should have full sized cars in complete settings for everybody.

They won't cost that much for long. Mark spoke about this in detail a few investor calls ago. They're all worth a listen.

Friendly reminder: If your local electric utility produces electrical power by burning fossil fuels, then the Arcimoto is still a fossil-fuel powered vehicle. If Arcimotos are evenly distributed around the United States, 63% of them will be fossil-fuel powered.

Friendly, sure Tom. The arcimoto is estimated at 270MPGe. What that means is that even using dirty sources of power it's equivalent to 5x more fuel efficient than a prius and 8.4x more efficient than a honda civic. But keep telling yourself that this is just as bad as using an F350 diesel...

Good observation. That seems to be swept under the rug with these types of vehicles. The other thing is all of the toxic heavy metals that are used in electric vehicles. When the battery pack dies, what happens? Can it be recycled? What if the battery pack is damaged and unusable, what happens with it? Right now it becomes super toxic landfill waste.

@@rabrumf Of course you can’t make batteries out of thin air. I’ll give you that. So as of today you have 65% of water diverted from local avocado farmers in the Andes to extract Lithium. I'm sure they'll sort things out soon. Lithium is also a metal used in drugs for people suffering from bipolar disorder. cobalt is a thing of the past(cleantechnica.com/2018/06/17/teslas-cobalt-usage-to-drop-from-3-today-to-0-elon-commits/) Nickel is used to make margarine, among other things… Everything is toxic at a certain level. Do you know you can die from drinking too much water? But do you realize how insignificant all this is compared to the Behemoth of climate/ecological disaster oil represents? between extraction, transport (oil tankers, trucks, pipelines…) and consumption? And batteries are recyclable. Oil isn't.
