Does everyone else get the same thrill I do from seeing these places and knowing that amazing people who made history lived, worked and died in them? In 2017, when I went to Philadelphia and stood in the room where the Declaration of Independence was signed, it almost brought me to tears! Life is so fleeting and marking history is important. Thank you for this and other videos that take us to these places, Tom. Sorry you couldn't keep the cannon ball. 😄

This was my favorite tour. I didn't know Burr was against slavery. They always painted him as the villain in American history. Thank you for contextualizing everything including Juneteenth and the role of women.

I've been twice, it's a beautiful mansion rich with history, and is said to also be haunted. Glad Tom included that fun fact. It's a yes. Not only by lady of the house Eliza, but a soldier near the staircase, and a servant girl on the grounds by the mansion. Reported by staff and visitors.
