Retipping 3 claws on a garnet cluster ring in 18ct yellow gold (strange for a garnet ring) using the Lampert PUK 3 Professional Plus welder on Gap 6ms 25% power. The garnets were not damaged by welding them but great care is needed to keep the blast of the weld far enough away from the stone to not damage them.
Filming this close up is difficult because the camera is where I normally put my left hand so please forgive any clumsiness or getting my finger in the way.
