Welders need a Milwaukee metal saw with carbide blade! Tips on my favorite tool. The best way to cute a plate and not have to use a grinder! Let's make it easy! The Tip: Push it a little bit harder than you think!!! And don't get your jack stand in the way!!

It’s important to go to welding school but it is more important to learn how to weld. It doesn’t matter what you do just practice and keep practicing. Nobody can hold your hand. It’s up to you. American Welding Society! Welding schools!

I bought an Evolution saw that is similar, bought for cutting 16 gauge, more teeth on blade, works good, but can also rip teeth off if not careful, then I had to cut 1/2 inch, only rated for 5/16 inch, no problem......cuts were as smooth as yours, like a milling machine......these saws are fantastic, I got about 50 cuts 8 inches long in 1/2 inch, I had my assistant cut, so I do not know how he controlled saw, but knowing him he was careless and sloppy, but I got the job done on site.....1 dollar a cut seemed like a good deal that it cost me .....thanks for a great video and congratulations on growing so fast, cheers, Paul

I never hear you mention it or see plugs--but as an old guy I'll say this: Protect your ears young guys/gals. All us old guys are walking around with tinnitus on top of the normal losses associated with aging. The tinnitus is preventable I think. I wear ear plugs for everything all the time now because when I don't--it makes the ringing louder for longer and does more permanent damage. Gunfire and loud music and machinery will destroy your hearing if you let it.

What brand blade do you use? 42 tooth? Would the aluminum blade with 58 teeth cut any better on steel?
@davidhansen9665
@davidhansen9665 9 месяцев назад
That blade goes threw 1/4 inch plate like butter, I've always used cut off saws or angle grinders with cut off wheels, these have tons of advantage, your not creating all the dust and sparks, my question is how about the blade kick back from getting caught in kerf, is that not really an issue with those blades?
@TaylorWelding
@TaylorWelding 9 месяцев назад
Anything can happen. When it does kick back it's a monster.

Here’s you a tip you won’t believe. I have been using one of these saws for years. And I always used Milwaukee blades. Then one time I saw some blades at Harbor freight and let me tell you. This saw will cut nearly twice as good using their blades. Because the HF blades cut a thinner kerf.
@socialexperiment2601
