For people who notice how well Mr. Digginok uses a cutting torch I offer some advice. He keeps his tips clean, he knows how to set a proper flame and he does not crank the torch hotter than needed. He is cutting because he knows how and it is the most efficient way to remove old or bad metal. If he was melting away the metal it would be a massive mess, but this is prime example of good clean cutting. Catch his bucket repair video series if you want to see prime work of parting old shanks out of a bucket. Mr. Digginok really shines with a torch. He also has the knowledge of using heat to disassemble frozen up parts. That is an art form all in itself that he has also mastered.

A country boy can survive. I love to see farmers getting the job done. Thanks for showing this. Great job.

Nice work. Takes longer to clean and prep than it does to fix it. Been there many times.

Thank you, and thanks for watching, torch does a pretty good job with cleanup if you’re careful.

Great job of real world repair welding. Love to hear those old SA200 Lincoln machines purr!

+Steve Warner Thanks! Hard to beat the 200, love the sound too, way better than the lawn mower engines.

Digginok I have a 1966 SA200 Redface I restored and I find any excuse I can to fire it up and weld with it. Not using them is the hardest on them.

+Steve Warner I bet that’s a sweet welding machine, my brother had one about like that, it could stack weld faster than my 1992 model.

Digginok It welds better than I can! Keep up the good work. Maybe you should include some footage and info on your SA200 for those who only know about lawnmower engine welders. Let them know what they are missing !

It’s easier stick welding on the run than using a wire feed welder. Too short leads for my comfort outdoors anyways

You have a lot more patience dealing with Mr. Aeroplane than I would. He seriously needs to get back on his meds in which case I would have sympathy and if not in need of them then he is just a hater who should be disregarded as such. I can't believe I wasted my time trying to make sense of this @sshole. Keep up the good, honest work. Men like you are the backbone of this Country.

Great repairs but you need to get a lid for you cut that can close where you drink to protect you from maybe drinking metal shavings or dirt

What class of 🚚 is that; with that big ass welder in it? How do you get to your tool 📦? What type of welder is that?
@Digginok
@Digginok 3 года назад
F350, handles it well. The welder is a 1991 sa200 Lincoln. I don’t always take the welder with me, just when I need it, the skid has torch bottles hose and leads handy.
