This is an update of primarily Well Point, but we also touch on Oak Hollow, and Edenfield. These are villages among others that are south of Monarch Grove and north of Eastport. I mistakenly call Monarch Grove the Village of Corbin in the video. My bad. Sorry if this causes any confusion.

There is no village of Corbin. You are referring to Monarch Grove. Corbin Trail runs through Monarch Grove.

Thank you 🙏🏻 I’ve driven over there (on Sundays, so as to not get in the way of all the construction), and finally have a sense of where the major roads are (it’s tough to navigate from the ground). Also confused where Bexley Tr and Central Parkway go (over the Southern Oaks bridge) That’s how WE will get to Eastport (eventually) We live in Newell off Meggison and can’t wait for that area to mature. Anxiously awaiting all your videos 👍🏻 Do you have any idea what they’re going to do on 470? 🤷🏼‍♂️ (widen it to 4 lanes?) … especially that intersection at 33 & 470 toward South Leesburg? They get major traffic jams there, esp during rush hour. Keep up the good work 👊🏻

See my video from Oct. 31, 2023 (not in the description list since it is non-Villages) which highlights the dangers of this section of road the you mention. I made this video and sent it to all of the members of the Lake Sumter Metropolitan Planning Organization Community Advisory Committee to try to get support to have this improved. It is currently on the list to get to four lanes from the Sumter Co line all the way to Rt. 27, but there is no funding for it. It is number 13 on the list of priorities and only the first 10 get funded. I also sent an email this week to the county commissioner whose district this is in and got no reply. I also addressed it last week to the Leesburg City Commission at their meeting and they basically said, "Not my job." I am going to a road safety meeting next week and will bring it up again. As far as Central Parkway's future alignment, see my video in the description list from Feb. 14, 2024. I discuss what likely will happen with 470. I think from about 1 mile west of the county line, the road will be abandoned in favor of the extension of Central Parkway at least up to Bexley Trail. If you look at the Sumter GIS map, it shows that TV owns that part of the road. I do not think it can be vacated within one mile of the county line because there are still four properties not owned by TV, three of which are on Rt. 470 and may be future non-Villages commercial. Stay tuned for me as I learn it.

Sure wish they would start to get slabs down in Wellpoint - that's the area we are targeting but I think it will be just outside of our buying time frame. We are looking at mid-July to early August. Thanks for the update and keep up the good work!
