Made the journey from Scotland to Wembley a few times, England v Scotland, Stones concerts, Bowie concerts etc. A fantastic stadium which generated a great atmosphere, so much better than its replacement.

I did this tour in 1980 or 1981. My dad worked in the factory next door to the stadium for 20 years. We lived in Wembley. I used to go to the markets there on a Sunday. Left England over 40 years ago now. I don’t remember seeing what they show (my memory has faded) but I remember they showed us the Queen’s toilet room. It had a narrow window so she could still see the game!

They could have modernised the old Wembley. Those amazing Towers....the history. The new Wembley will never have that. Think of things like Live Aid, too It will never be replaced.....

they should not have knocked this down and instead converted to flats with a park in the middle. and the built the new one somewhere else.

I googled "Old Wembley Stadium" and clicked on this thinking Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd would start playing... and it didn't... I'm disappointed

The new stadium is so soulless. I’m sure they could of just refurbed the old stadium so it lost non of its charm.

The old Wembley was magical , they can keep the so called new !!! Not interested one jot !!!!

Only in England can we demolish a 100 year old gigantic stadium and replace it with a lame multi purpose North American styled arena

New Wembley feels corporate, stewards who cant speak english stopping you every 2 mins asking what ur recording for or you cant do that...i miss the old Wembley, the country was great then and ENGLISH
