If you watched the show, she said that, not only did Vince pay the entire cost of her recording a record, he asked her to come out on tour with him.... INSTEAD of her "opening" for him, he put her performance in the MIDDLE of his entire set, in order that people would not be coming and going to their seats in the beginning as most folks do.... CLASS ACT!!! LOVE HER!!!

I never knew Wendy before The Voice and I was voting for her. She's such a talent and I was so happy to see the standing ovation after this performance. I wish they had included her story in this clip that she told about how Vince incorporated her set into the middle of his latest tour & show instead of her being his opening act. He didn't want people looking for their seats when she was singing!!! It made me tear up! What a great man and such a huge talent!!

I love her voice, but not this particular song for her. It felt a little pushed and did not include a more country sound in her tone, similar to the original. She reminds me of the iconic Whitney Houston in her phenomenal range, and it’s very pretty, just not traditionally country in this arrangement.
