I like to camp alone also, and people are always trying to discourage me, instilling fear about women being alone. They don't understand. Thanks for sharing your journey, I loved every minute of it. You are an inspiration!🥰

proud of you Wendy, awesome set up for sure. Girl in the woods sent me over to your channel. I am going to be 65, I have crown land camped here in Ontario several times in Northern Ontario . Black bear area nervous about going solo though more afraid of the two footed ones than the wildlife . suppose i could take my dog and sleep in back of my SUV the first night. or maybe even start in a campground alone , Not sure . with the crown spot we were we woke to find claw marks on a log not far from where we had slept in tents that freaked me out as did how the woods close in on you at night agree about having a fire to keep the light for a bit, but you did so well . .... Ontario .

Hi Wendy, I am also going on solo camping trips. Mostly by car since I'm not good walker. What kind of sleepng mat could you recommend, especially for women with back pain?

I am really enjoying your videos! I have a friendly question or two as I was an experienced hiker (no longer able at 69 which is why I admire you) but my questions are about food scents around your camp. Your food prep is very close to your tent as clearly you know well. What are your thoughts about that regarding wildlife? Also, do you clean your plates and pans in the water, or elsewhere? Again, my question is regarding the possibility of attracting wildlife to your campsite. Again, these are friendly questions out of interested curiosity. Thanks for a response! I'll watch for your thoughts and comments.

I like that Clipper canoe. Great video. Those trout were good eating size. The area I live has over 4000 lakes and 85 percent of the world's lake trout population

Wendy, I’ve been watching all your videos since I discovered you and I just love you and your channel. I am 64 and love to camp and fish, though I’ve never camped alone yet. But I am the most squeamish fisherman you’ll ever come across, so to see you with your thumb through that fish’s gill and out his mouth was so impressive! 😂 I only fish for fun and always throw them back, but I can’t even touch them! I can’t even touch the worms! Hats off to you! I also have a very BIG problem dealing with spiders. Do you?

The tranquility is out of this world, go girl as always.
