Oh my God, I just found you on RU-vid and I’m in love!! You are so much fun and the food you cook is amazing! I really enjoy your channel and I have a lot of catching up to do!
@@loris.badeau So far he hasn't disappointed. I'm wondering if behind the scenes hes messed something up before but they just cut it and did a reshoot. They should do a Q&A!
I was going through the comments and saw so many about his use of paper towels.... I was still not prepared for how this man violated that paper towel roll 😂😂 idk what I was expecting but that was definitely not it.
This battle of the baconator was like the Terminator beating up a 3-year-old girl... By the time you open that burger it looked like it was smuggled over the border... Did the delivery guy have it in his pocket or something?
Tbf tho your making your version with enjoyment and with care. the people who make the Burgers at Wendy's are on 8 dollars a hour and slowly dying inside
I knew he must have been a stoner from the first video that I watched him. The reason I subscribed is because he said and some interviews and on his old TV show that I found that he's not into using Chef talk. And you can pretty much tell from his videos he explains in normal talk. But I had that sneaking suspicion being in San Diego and some of his references that he was a stoner
Yeahhh.... Must be fun at parties..., But I don't think Sam is a psychopath, he's very genuine and honest, don't know why you would say that, an example of psychopath would be onision.
Things I learned about Wendy's, after 3 years being a training manager: 1) Their beef is (not sure about fresh) never frozen. 2) They really use a flat top grill. 3) Old meat from the grill is used as chilli meat. 4) They use legit applewood smoked bacon 5) The collar of Wendy has, "MOM" printed out. (Even though Dave T. never met his mother) 6) Wendy's is named after Dave Thomas' daughter, Melinda. 7) Square patties aren't original to Wendy's. 8) The all vanilla frosty wasn't introduced until until 2006. Chocolate was the only flavor since they began on 11/15/69 (I think) and was only 5 cents a cup.
alyssa damiano Nah theres a timer where we serve the meat and if it goes off whatever meat didnt get served you put it in a container that keeps it warm and when it gets full you chop it up and use it to make chili
Yeah, fresh Wendy's is pretty legit. Way better burgers than most fast food. I had a buddy who worked their for many years and always hooked me up with the freshest eats on the cheap.
You should do a price comparison at the end of these homemade/remake foods or make a series where you try to recreate a dish but better within a budget. Would love to see that :)
This isn't a "can I do it for the same price or cheaper" channel. OBVIOUSLY it's going to be quite a bit more expensive to do it yourself. But there is that tradeoff as always that the cheaper thing is going to not taste nearly as good. It's simple economics
Watching this at the beginning of May 2020... Something ironic about hearing somebody say "Hope your 2020 is off to a good start". Ahh, hindsight Nice burger though!
Watching this near the end of February 2021. Wonder what Sam is thinking of that statement now... I've eaten a Wendy's Baconator on a few occasions, and honestly wasn't that impressed. I'd definitely eat Sam's version of it though.
More like 8 dollars, you’re not paying 20 plus on a handful of ground beef and a cube of short rib, and bacon is cheap, could make a dozen of em for 26 bucks
Hey Sam, I've been watching your vids for some time now and really love 'em, but this one is @ another level. If there were a stoner food competition I'm sure this would absolutely be the #1. #FANF*CKINGTASTIC! Cheers!
Someone should invent a ray gun called “The Baconater 6900” that creates perfectly cooked bacon out of the atoms from water. Yup, I’m totally stoned right now.
Damn that is one fine looking burger. The idea of adding an additional beef protein (short ribs) to enhance the flavor I would not of thought of. Great channel, great food and great presentation.
Cat Slayer any true burger lover knows that grinding your own is far superior. Supermarkets toss leftover scraps in a grinder to make theirs. I suggest a mix of short rib, chuck, and brisket.
I live down the street from Wendy’s HQ and Dave Thomas did name it after his daughter. I can’t say how much he gave to our community. He was a huge advocate of adoption.
I’ve just subscribed to you last night and I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! I rarely comment on videos but your personality is so amazing and your food looks amazing as well! I plan to try so many of your recipes.
Damn! You know you're getting old when you actually remember Dave Thomas starring in his own commercials... and that the young people of today have no idea who the hell he or "Wendy" are. lol
