I have the 2022 GMC AT4, same color as this one. I do agree with the rear view mirror being hard to see. My solution to that is driving with the rear View camera on.
I'm glad you're back I still have my F150 I'm gonna get rid of it by the end of the year I'm just trying to wait and see some of the newest vehicles that are coming out I like the AT4 X and I like the big Bronco with the sasquatch package I'm just trying to see which one will be best for me because with the market now you have to be a smart consumer.. Again welcome back
Honestly, i can't blame you for trading the f-150, I have been a ford guy all my life and that's about all I've ever had I do presently own a 2020 2.7 f150 supercrew and I do love it, but ford's quality has just sunk so low, from the dash warping on the stx to the problem with the 10 speed transmission to the 5.0 rattle I mean it's crazy, ford has a very loyal customer base but if they don't get this crap figured out they will start to peel off. To this day I can honestly say I haven't had any problems with my 2020 and I hope it stays that way. You had a beautiful f150, and you spent a lot of time and put a lot of passion into that truck it's sad it didn't live up to your expectations anyways congrats on your gmc and I love your channel.
I had the same issue with my ‘21 AT4 wireless charger and then I realized it’s because it doesn’t continue to charge once your phone is at full capacity. So if your phone was charged all night and then you drive to work it will connect and disconnect but if your phones at 50% on your way back from work I bet it will charge the whole drive
Hi! Do you think you'll do a recap on the AT4X? Like a long term review? It'd be great to see if you've changed your opinion on some of the things you liked/disliked as well as some of the mods you were happpy with or not happy with. Great video! Super informative!
I bailed on GMC because my last truck was poor reliability and rusted bad from Iowa winters. I am in a Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro for my new hunting vehicle
I bought the at4x recently. Reaaly like the truck minus a few things. Ditto on the rear view mirror and peddle/steering wheel placement. The gas tank is too small. I miss the ability to disable the traction and stability control at all speeds. In the same spirit maybe different drive modes that would allow higher speed slides or drifts. Especially on snowy icy roads. It is supposed to be a sport truck right? Lastl' it is a pain in the but to put 34"-35" tires on the truck with the fancy shocks. The stock tires look too small.
Great and helpful video. I’m waiting for my 2023 GMC AT4. Should arrived next month, so will definitely follow you to get ideas for my truck. First question- do you loose your dealer warranty when you add a leveling kit? Thanks man!
The dealer has to "prove" the part you installed attributed to the failure. A leveling kit can be installed by the dealer to ensure 100% warranty backed. Installing yourself could cause problems getting suspension parts covered under warranty depending on your dealers attitude. With my F150, I only had one issue with the leaf springs, took in for all maintenance and not one issue with being heavily modified to include reprogramming myself.
I’ve had mine for two weeks. So I like the mirror during the day but not at night. I’m 6’3 and the steering wheel is not an issue. It’s very hard to keep clean. The wireless charger is not great and I had to put Lego under my phone so it charges properly.
Great stuff!! I’ve had mine for 2 weeks and you touched on a few items that we agree on for sure, small rear view, crappy charger, no pedal adjust, etc… one thing I didn’t hear you mention that blew me away, NO ambient lighting!!! At night can’t see the console, cup holders, door panels, etc… I’m coming from a Ram Limited, the interior quality and interior features blow this truck away. I will say the ride on this GMC is premium.
That is a good point! Especially at this price ambient lighting should be standard. I also had a ram limited which I loved. Usually a ford or ram guy and ram hit it out of the park on the new ones. I am surprised with how great the ride is on the at4x compared to the air ride on the limited.
Test drove a RAM 1500 and a Sierra 1500 Elevation trim (1 step down from AT4). Honestly, the GMC suspension was tighter and more solid than the loose-feeling sway of the RAM. Went with the GMC.
Ewwww... lol nice truck either way. I went to an f250 but congrats on the gmc. I have two buddies with the baby max which gmc is doing away with that engine.
80k was probably the truck price. Add TTL and extended bumper to bumper style warranty… probably 90k before down payment and financing. It’s crazy. Sweet truck for sure though. We bought a Yukon xl at4 at the end of last year. Tax, title, license and warranty added 10k to the already high msrp. Love the Yukon. Very expensive though
@ryanvandewalker4539 you could do this one, it's just a 7in instead of 9in. Does say it won't fit but it will. Both threads are the same, either m6 or m7. amzn.to/3Wzksce
@@WICKEDAUTO1 my bad brother! I just saw a notification on my phone that you had posted a video, and i just went straight to the comments. Hope your doing well.
