Shannon is changing the subject here. Edelman is talking about 'that's how they're run' in terms of allowing a receiver to even think he can make that Facebook post. He's saying that the Steelers have a culture where AB thinks that's okay. Edelman isn't saying 'they're run immorally and we're run morally'.

The "thats how they are" statement is essentially an unfinished quote that the media loves to twist to fit their narrative. If you read his full statement, it gives a better understanding as to what he meant. Ex. some people like red, while others may like blue, does not mean that either color is bad, its just that people have preferences. The steelers have a more open organization, while the patriots are more conservative. Neither is bad because both have had success, they just run thinks differently. The "Thats how they are" quote can be applied on both sides. Why are we assuming the quote has negative connotations?

Julian wasn't out of line. He was asked a question in an interview and he answered truthfully. Patriots have a very business oriented franchise so they would probably come down on him. The Steelers are the opposite with a very player friendly, fun league style play. He just pointed that out, don't think he was being insincere or kicking them while they're down.

Shannon completely missed the point. It's about how the locker room is run and the philosophy of the organisation. Aside from Hernandez (who nobody expected would of murdered people) those other players were given a second chance, when others gave up on them, if they buy into the system. Once you are there though test Bill and see where you end up, just ask Collins and Jones.

The coaches on the field I get that but the play on the field us just football shazier hit was a text book tackle just so happened that the ball carrier lowered himself to where there was helmet contact. Also those hits happen on other teams D also. I've watched all steeler games I haven't seen marcuice pouncey the center do anything out of line.

There's a lot of great players who never got a SB win. Is Julian an all-time great? No. But he is still a great weapon and one of the best receivers in the league. He was also instrumental in the Patriots SB win. Last time I checked AB doesn't have any rings.
