I disagree that you did not have the authority to make those videos. Of course, our study methods evolve. But it is of value to get perspectives from somebody who is currently at a particular level in university. Seeing how they processed the experience. Nonetheless, I'm grateful that you made this video to update how those tips hold up for you.

I’m glad she’s also talking about what she likes in her old videos. Most people, when looking back at their old selves, bash themselves and it’s honestly refreshing to see somebody look at it more objectively. Bashing my old self is also something I unfortunately do, but seeing someone treat their old self well, is nice.

Something I would love to see from you is a video talking about how to be confident in your intelligence as a woman and not feeling obligated to play it down. I’ve always been labeled the “pretentious smart girl” who annoyed everyone by answering questions correctly. It makes me want to pretend to be less smart than I am and it’s not okay. You briefly mentioned it but I would truly love an in-depth video about it. ❤️

I guess the numbers were more back then, because back then we use to actually see her taking notes and not her routine or tricks. idk, if it's just me but, watching someone actually do something is more helpful for me than someone explaining me how to do that. And, I am definitely not telling you or forcing you to change what you are doing, it's just an opinion. love you so muchJasmine :D

I have watched your videos since the beginning (I had already finished secondary school at that point) and I never noticed how much different your voice + videos are. To be honest they appealed to me then and they still do. I feel like I'm a little older than you, but I don't understand the american education system so I don't know what age a Freshman would/should be. I'm graduating university next year and I'm glad you've been here the whole time.

LOL when i filmed this video i had just seen a bunch of Dr. Inna tiktoks and people wanted to call her pretentious for no reason. but it happens to a lot of smart women on the internet. on the other hand when men are knowledgable (i'm thinking of Hank Green as an example) ppl usually tag them in comments to fact check instead of saying they're pretentious. it's like how women presenting themselves as in-charge makes them "bossy" while men who are in charge are "leaders" too many words i should save this for a course paper

@@studyquill yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about, it's a lot of double standards and I've experienced this first hand and seen it happen to a lot of people, I just meant that other people might not have that much of an idea so I would love to see you work on one. If you want, I could email you some ideas and possible video titles and you'd just have to film and post it. I think it's such an intersting topic that most people don't talk about so I would love to see you talk about it on your platform.
