The weathering of the pyramids today is irrelevant because the pyramids outer stones were removed long ago. Those stones would have showed the water damage, not the inner stone that we are left with today.

I've been there. I'm convinced that the great pyramids and sphinx predate the flood, created by a much more advanced civilization. When the actual Egyptians moved into the area (post flood), they recognized the significance of the structures, decided this is a great place to build a civilization and then worked to recreate the pyramids. To a much lesser degree they were successful, but they could never replicate the ones at Giza. So that step pyramid may be the oldest "Egyptian" one, but those at Giza were from some other civilization that was wiped off the planet.
The 3 Giza pyramids were built before the flood of Noah. Evidence of flood damage is exhibited in a painting by David Roberts which was painted in 1839 and shows a water line about 1/3 the way up the Great and 2nd pyramid, neither of which was built by Khufu or his son Khephren. All three were built by Hermes/Thoth, or Ningishida (Sumerian) before the Great Flood, which has been dated to 11,432 BCE which was 5,813 years before Menes, the first pharaoh of Egypt. The obvious water line in the painting has now unfortunately been obliterated by acid rain since that time, but was even visible in 1879. A-Biruni, in The Chronology of Ancient Nations (1879 CE), says: “People are of the opinion, that the traces of the water of the Deluge and the effects of the waves are still visible on these two pyramids halfway up, above which the water did not rise.” Let us remember too, this was after the removal of its casing stones. You should read Dr. Chase's book Reverse Engineering the Great Pyramid on Amazon, he explains it in the first chapter very well.

Do not forget that the pyramids AT GIZA were covered in a protective layer of limestone which was stripped off to build and repair surrounding structures. If I remember correctly from seminary years ago, the difference between the Leningrad Codex and the Septuagint has to do with a change in one of the languages in how numbers were represented by letters. At least that's what I was taught at the time. Checking back at both the targums and the rabbinic literature that I could find at the moment (I don't have them at hand, but some are online), all of them that I could find have the years without the hundred. I'm not sure the theory that the difference can be accounted for by a change in the way the numbers were represented fully pans out, because if that were the case it would apply to all other numbers greater than 100 in the same texts. That said, because there are enough other texts that predate the Septuagint that have the difference in the years and also serve as witnesses to the Hebrew Scriptures, I'm not going to assign a motive of evil intent to the Masoretes if they were in error since they had differing texts to decide between. I do have to observe that the birthrate observation might be questionable. If people were having kids in their 30s, then it works out. If they were waiting (like the men in our timeline here) until they were well past 100 to start having kids, that would slow the birthrate way down. It's all speculation one way or another. Between inbreeding and having lots of kids (and I mean a LOT of kids), you can end up with a lot of people in a short period of time. I'm not coming down on one side or the other, because I don't know. I believe the Scriptures, and where the Scriptures are less clear, I know that God is still true to his word and he will make it clear to us according to his purposes.

Actually he got some major points wrong right out of the gate. Its the great pyramid that is in question, not the others. There is massive amounts of evidence that the great pyramid was built first and all others were built later based on it, and each one progressively was smaller and less complex. Also unlike all other pyramids, the GP has no Egyptian markings, no hieroglyphs, no spells to send the pharaoh into the after life, no anything that connects it to Egyptian culture and religion. All other pyramids were clearly Egyptian and covered with hieroglyphs, spells and religious marking for the pharaoh. Also there are salt deposits all inside the ceiling of the GP.

If the pyramid stones we're made from stone that was melted melted and poured using the sun, forms (like for forming concrete) and a giant lens, then not only would that explain the lack of space between them and the perfect interface of one stone to another, but that would explain why water didn't get into the pyramids. If you account for a lack of water's ability to flow to the inside of the pyramids, and the fact that we don't know exactly when the casing stones were stripped, then that means the only evidence that we could have had no longer exists. As for water not getting into the pyramids it means that that form of evidence never existed in the first place. Ever since I heard it, it has been my favorite hypothesis, to believe that the stone for the blocks was melted and poured. As for the casing stones, it is commonly believed that they were made of a geopolymer (like concrete), which would have never needed to be melted to make a tight seal in being poured and formed. I think this is an important perspective not to dismiss out of hand, which warrants serious consideration, at least at first.

Problem is there never was a global flood, there was an isolated one during the younger dryas, where there earth got hit by some meteorite and flooded the doggerlands and the Mediterranean region up to modern day Israel. It's likely a story that got lost in the longest game of telephone.

Excellent, thank you! Really liked the Back to the Future and other "pop culture" references you included. And the ending bit from that lecturer was awesome! I had a software career; the "extra copies, each slightly broken" reminds me of RAID-5 systems, where we're use many drives with redundancy to store data, so if one drive died it'd still have all the data; replace the dead drive with a blank one and it'd repopulate it to be redundant again. (Other setups with additional redundant drives could allow for multiple failures at once, to handle those edge cases.) Thanks again!

@@StarsoftheStreets One example: he didn't consider the point written in archeology and known in Jewish history, that in about 200 BC the greek king Ptolemy "borrowed" 72 of the Jewish elders to translate the book of laws to Greece. And that was the common language spoken at the time. So if someone wanted to quote a sentence, he was most likely to quote it from the greek version which had mistakes planted on purpose. (At that time, kings could kill someone for writing things they didn't like). So relying on this type of source is a mistake. (I can give you another example if you wish).

Excellent! I am attempting to dig through the chaff to get a smidgen of wheat. I've learned of the differences between the Masoretic text and that of the Samaritan, Septuagint and Dead Sea scrolls. My ideal Bible would be a KJV based upon the translations from the Samaritan, Septuagint and Dead Sea scrolls. Just a thought for you, something I would like to see-- taking the accepted geological timeline of the Earth and the timeline of the Earth as expressed in the Bible and aligning them, adjusting the geological years with the bible years. Be very interesting to see if the compressed geological years led to any new discoveries. As an example, we know the accumulation rate of dust on the moon. When the astronauts went to the moon there was a fear that the dust could be so thick that the Lunar lander could sink into it and be unable to take off again. But the depth of the dust seemed to verify the biblical age of our Earth, approximately 8,000 years. Something that has puzzled me for a while is Leviathan. It is only mentioned 3 times in the Bible. Isiah, Job and Psalms. Job intrigues me because of the physiological details, Psalms because of the supposedly vast amount of time between Leviathan frolicking in the ocean and then stranded in the desert for carrion for birds.

I've always left open the possibility that the books of the BIble have been messed with my conspirators over the millennia. I mean, the Bible was in hands of only the priest class, kings, and the powers that be for at least 1500 years before it reached the people.Of course it was manipulated and of course the Jews would've been the first ones to mess with it because it was Their book. One other thing you'll find different in the Septuagint is found in the later 30th chapters of Ezekiel. He describes there being 2 mercy seats (a large one & a small one) in his vision of the temple, instead of just 1 in all the masoretic texts. Years ago I discovered that many quotations of the old testament found in the new testament are actually from the Septuagint instead of the masoretic texts. I would pause my new testament reading- go straight to the quotation in the OT & find them worded differently than each other; however when done the same with the Septuagint they would be worded alot closer, if not exact. That's what got me assuming greater credibility from the septuagint as opposed to the masorite copies that came later. HalleluYah that you are interested & looking.

the bible explains it. the earth was pure, then people sinned so much God cursed them to only live 120 years and from then on, humans have contaminated the earth and the genetic inbreeding that our bodies are cannot sustain life that long anymore, except extremely rare cases. in fact in medieval times and all the unhygienic practices, lifespans were around 50 years old and infant mortality rates were extremely high. with the understanding of biology and germs we gained 20 or so years but modern society is killing us off again.

You are missing a couple key elements. hopefully it won't take you 30 years to find your mistake. most water damage experts (in the field of archelogy) calculate water damage based on flowing water. assuming the world is covered in water, there is very little current. therefore water damage as typically researched can not exist. the oceans fastest currents, I think are at 3.5 knots, and that's a very isolated few water tunnels. however: as a water damage expert, i can see water damage from afar on every pyramid i have eyeballed (saturation damage). but not from flowing water. then we have to forget archeology briefly, and respect common sense. we simply do not have the technology today to build the pyramids. the only way that technology, of such magnitude, around the world, could disappear in it's entirety would logically be a catastrophe that destroyed humanity (Hence a flood). remember: Science is only a known fact when what was assumed to be scientific is proven wrong. remember: greed is the root of all evil. archeologists are profit (grant) driven. Have you heard the theory that Enoch built the great pyramid and had God given technology how to do it since he talked with God and the that the Great Pyramid symbology points to Christ? @@carldom1264 no, i haven't read that book. it does sound fascinating, but maybe not well researched. my biased mind is particular. god created a marvelous body for us, and although or mental capacity does diminish with age, our wisdom generally increases with age. likewise, destroying that theory with very little effort. what we do have, is plenty of evidence of a civilization, before us, that was of much higher intellectual capacity. even embryo's on the ark. engineless " airplanes" not to forget the ability to machine rock and build pyramids, and the like, to a much higher level of perfection than possible in todays time/s. instead of assuming, we can simply read the bibles (using reverse interpretation when necessary) to find the necessary evidence that god gave us to support the archeology findings. I find there is a few mistakes "science makes". historians forget to communicate with theologists, and those two groups, don't communicate enough with archeologists. unfortunately, the vast majority of archeological finds are never reported. (the cost of interrupting development, and the fear of changing a well paid theory. some of the smallest finds, coupled with biblical studies can answer some of the biggest questions. but then, how much evidence does a true Christian (child of god, regardless of named church/s attended..) need to acknowledge god. most of the need for research is a mere attempt to justify our wrong, in hopes of earning our way to heaven, if (in their minds) it really does exist. back to the ol "greed is the root of all evil"... This is fascinating! Great work, thank you! I should say I only disagree with the idea that the pyramids were built by 30.000 people or so, also the bable tower "would require" thousands of people... I don't think that many people were necessary to have built such structures in their time, my reasoning is the fact that early humans were way stronger than us!
