I don't blame you. Don't set up a nursery for the new baby. And I applaud you on saving your money that you would spend on the baby shower and buy what you want. You both have already experienced those things and have learned what is important to you. Besides, parties are for the people and you'll never make everybody happy, all the time. It's alot of work and expensive and at the end of the day what is important is to enjoy the pregnancy.

BRII!!! I never wanted to get married. my family always talked bad about marriage and, implanted a seed in my head that it wasn’t a good idea. I was always surrounded by toxic relationships and, marriages growing up. I did some soul searching one day, I asked my self what does marriage even mean? I did my own research on marriage and what it truly means to be married. I realized that I want to get married and commit to each other formally in the good and the bad. Me and my partner are now engaged and we’ve been together for 7 years and this the best versions of our selfs that we can give to each other to officially begin a marriage we both feel 100% ready and people can judge but only we know when is the best time to do things ❤ much love to you and fern congratulations 🎉

I threw my own baby shower for the first time for my second baby this past Sunday and safe to say.. never again lol Its tiring, stressful, EXPENSIVE and as a mommy whos hosting it's just WAY too much. Ill continue to have fun planning my son's parties because of the happiness it brings them but planning a party for myself - never again lol. Loved your intake on it. God bless you guys!
The way you are describing how you are feeling with this pregnancy was me I just wanted to be alone and in peace. I had a very small baby shower for my second and it was a drive by baby shower during covid. I Loved it!!!!! So I get what you mean!! But for some reason I’m still wanting to be alone and in peace. I enjoyed it too much I guess lol! I also have 2 boys 😅 debating for #3. Idk I feel like I need a break they’re like 17 months apart I’m tired!

I feel you on the anxiety part, since being pregnant I haven’t had one till a few days ago. It’s so weird bcus I was being tickled by my man and I was laughing so hard that I couldn’t breathe and then I started to panic and shake and it was soooo so bad. My due date is the Nov 22 we are not that far apart🩵 I’m having a boy too! It’s beautiful to see others during the same journey ❤

Bri, try looking into taking magnesium glycinate and vitamin d for your anxiety. I know a lot of people that it has helped. There’s even TikTok’s about taking that combination.
