Wes McNubb "Pull My Finger" 1985.
Recorded at Bumnote studio in 1984 and released the following year in 1985 by Polydigital, "Pull My Finger" was the 1st single and title track from McNubbs album of the same name.
Though unverified, the story is that whilst adding the finishing touches to the track, McNubb just couldn't muster a decent fart, " I just couldn't get the tone or blappiness I wanted" McNubb would later say.
But thankfully the session was saved by the legendary guitarist and hit writer Lee Shattner, who was on hand to do some really wet eggy ones and a couple dry puffy ones, and captured the moment and spirit of the song perfectly.
