Wesker's "Rebound" tech is game-changing... | Dead by Daylight 

The game is still a lot of fun when most things actually line-up. Problem is, very often they don't. Cheaters, stream sniping, counter-metagaming loadouts. It's amazing enough that he can still have any fun playing while streaming tbh.

Wesker is just plain fun to play as and against

None of these issues are unique to DBD either, there is no online game with zero cheaters and every streamer playing a pvp game has to deal with stream snipers. Also, duh it's a pvp game and people want to win, of course they will be playing meta.

That is a lot smarter. Right now the only real use of map offerings is so players can send themselves to obviously unbalanced maps that favor their side. Not sure why survivors would want to block Badham in your hypothetical, tho :P

Yes Me too. I had a few games without it for a certain build and holy crap I felt so slow and screwed in a lot of situations. It was the Game map so I had trouble vaulting windows with the first bound. I wish it was already basekit

@@fookingreat blights power is better than weskers that the key difference, blight gets gets like 5 rushes, he can lunge mid rush, it covers more distance, it works better on indoor maps, it begins INSANTLY vs wesker who has to charge his for 10 years, and blight goes through less of a cooldown than wesker after dashing. They are literally not comparable in the slightest dont be stupid

@@thedoomslayer5863 Their powers esp. the flicks and techs are 100 percent comparable. Also, its pretty obvious that you dont know what you’re talking about as everything you mentioned is wrong. Blight doesnt go through less of a cooldown; he has to charge 5 rushes while Wesker can even use his power with 1 charge. Blights power also doesn’t begin instantly like you say, his first rush is not lethal which in-fact can be body blocked by survivors, something that can be reliable done at shack door. (Otz blights vid also showcased this). Its not a matter of seeing survivors and just rushing straight into them like wesker, which makes it considerably more difficult to pull off. Anything that takes more practice and skill to do should be better IMO. Wesker is a strong killer that is much easier to play. Hell people on switch can even play him just fine. Lastly blight ABSOLUTELY isnt better on indoor maps. The fact that wesker can go through windows and pallets with his power while blight has to pin-ball around the indoor maps is pretty self explanatory that it’s literally torture playing blight on indoor maps compared to wesker.

@@thedoomslayer5863 thats the whole point. an exploit is only called that if a strong killer has it. despite the identical bug, its only considered an "exploit" for blight, and a "tech" for wesker. double standards feeling strong

Probably it's because his power allows him to catch up with survivors who W key away, and the grab is very satisfying too

@@garrettlauderbaugh312 there's a few spots you can do this Rebound tech, like the front desk pallet in RPD, as wesker you can stand in the front and fake a direction you're gonna bound to then quickly adjust after first bound then follow up w a second bound. Though this can be countered by simply pre dropping the pallet, that way if he does try to do rebound tech, he'll have to vault or break the pallet. I actually have saved some clips of me doing this sorta stuff, so i can maybe post it for better explanation or something

@@thedoomslayer5863 when a blight flicks, they're flicking at a 90 degree angel around an object or a 180 degree angel. Simply spin outwards and dodge it. That's what flaring is.

I known this is very late but that doesnt really work, the wesker has more than enough time to wait a little bit on most tiles

@@LeonardoStupidKenway you just can't take a joke. In reality I play survivor 90% of the time so I don't care about investing much on killer. I did play RE6 but only on coop and it wasn't that bad.

You bound always in a straight line, you cannot turn during a bound like with Blight's rush. That's why you first bound into the point where you will have a line of sight on the survivor, then you initiate another bound onto the survivor.

@@jonatbender1565 There is this video of how to do Wesker's rebound - you hold the A key if you intend to go around a loop counter clockwise, and you hold D if you intend to go around it clockwise. This makes it so that instead of being on the same lane when you crash against the wall, you will be on the other lane and within line of sight of the surv. Then your second bound is very effective in those kinds of loops

Halloween event thing. Certain actions like doing event generators or using event hooks, as well as downing a survivor or stunning the killer fills the meter with void energy which can be deposited at the black hole looking things around the map

For wesker it might be easy but not for blight

It's not too hard tbh, I'm a Wesker main on console and I pull this off most times. It is somewhat tricky but much easier than blight tech stuff on console.
