Average time is between 1min and 1min 30 seconds, a really long dive is 2mins - have never really timed it just worked it out from the footage. Cheers!!!
Great video. A shame you appeared not to be wearing a life jacket on the way out. Also, it’s pretty common to come across Paua that you can’t just knock off the rock, necessitating the use of a knife, so why not have a proper Paua knife with you?
Hmm judgment call on no lifejacket was based on the conditions at the time and the fact that I know the area well, in hindsight I prob should have had it on just to promote safe boating. As for a paua knife, I've had several and always end up losing them. Cheers!!!
