Pietra Assumpção Yep! If you look at the pictures of the main cast in costume they costumes differ to the alternates in this video. Catherine of Aragon and Cleves wear different costumes usually.

Pietra Assumpção every cast member (apart from the band) have unique outfits. So when the alternates perform they aren’t sharing costumes. And because they cover all the parts they can’t have they’re own versions of say Anne boylen’s dress. There are 3 alternates so that’s an extra 18 dresses. So they have their own dresses or costumes that they can wear for any part 😊

Ensemble is basically just the term for everyone in the show but alternates cover different roles but aren't actually on if they aren't on as their cover but they have a specific rota and swings are like alternates just they don't have a specific rota they just 'swing in' if a performer can't do that show so these are alternates for their main characters but swings for the rest. I hope that makes sense but it probably doesn't lol

Julie Seang it is acc a costume design. If you look at the main/usual casts outfits there’s a pattern. Aragon & Cleves (divorced) have the spiky headbands, Boleyn & K Howard (beheaded) have the chokers, and Seymour & Parr (died/survived) have hoop earrings!

I Love Broadway something I also saw pointed out, the two queens that Outlived Henry wear pants! Its such genius costume designing

also the most famous portrait of Anne that I know of has her wearing a tight necklace with the letter B hanging from it

@@rexdavis14 Yup - it's been announced that Maiya and Millie's last show will be on Oct 13th. The new queens - Courtney Bowman (Boleyn) and Danielle Steers (Parr) will debut on Oct 15th. It's also announced that Vicki and Courtney are leaving but they haven't confirmed when their last performances will be.
