I really liked the video, the editing and the track. Congratulations this achievement. One day I will do this trail. Greetings from a hiker from Brazil.
This was beautifully filmed. Thanks for. the memories. I hiked this about 25 years ago. The start of the hike saw the start of rain and the rain just got harder and harder the closer I got to Fort William! Apart from that, of all the hiking I have done this is certainly the easiest. The route is so well marked and busy that you really don't need a map, compass, or navigating skills. Just put one foot in front of the other. Thanks once again!
I agree, this is also for me the easiest long distance hike have done. Thank you for the comments. I always love having comments from someone who did the trail 🙂
Thank you 🙂. It's always fun having feedback from someone who did the trail. I'm happy if it brought back some memories. What was the weather in April, as much rain?
I was blessed with very good weather, dry for 7 days but torrential rain on the last day, my problem was the strong winds, but no midges was the best result
Awesome film! I set off just a day before you, but it feels like we're in two different seasons 😂the scenery is so different. From your video, I can sense the mystique created by Scotland's unique weather. I noticed the aurora in the intro of your video. I also encountered an aurora caused by a solar storm at that time, but unfortunately, I couldn't see it due to the thick clouds🥲
It's crazy how different our trip was with only a day between us. I remembered seeing your pictures after the trip and say to my friend : hey, he's the guy that was in front of me. Oh wat he had snow on the devil's staircase! Ahah, that's what one of the reason to go in Scotland in that season, to see the ever-changing weather. We've been spoiled 😅. I'm looking forward to watch youre version of the trail. Who know maybe we're gonna cross paths again at some point on another trail
Hi, Alex! This video helps a lot as I am going next month! Mind sharing your filming gear? Also, did it involve a lot of walking away and walking back to the camera? Thanks
