That 2wd Blazer you purchased is my favorite. I also like those 4th gen Novas that you didn't buy. Looks like there is at least three good ones at that yard. In my area those are getting a bit pricey. And 3rd gen Novas prices have gone crazy. Even for a 4dr...
Noticed those mid 70s nova's also...they have a special place in my heart because my Dad had one and that's the car I sat in his lap and he let me pretend I was driving
My parents had a ‘77 Rally Sport hatchback. I thought that would be my first car, but when I was 15 and a half, the air conditioner went out and they traded it in.
Dude had enough Novas out there. I own 3 of them 75,77, and the last year they were made 79. A friend of mine had one two. All of them had the 250 6 cylinder. The 75 was a junker. It had a lawn mower manual choke, PVC ignition switch for the key, duct tape taillights bulbs, no grille, duct tape front turn signals, plus it was a 4dr. but only 3drs. worked. I didn't have to worry about anyone stealing it. Also it had a 3speed on the floor. Also a friend who I went to school with had a Opal GT. Talk about small, that's what these cars were.
Soo Glad to see Richard hasn't slowed down. Though i do miss new Gas Monkey on TV, RU-vid is cool too.. Though it'd be much cooler if RU-vid let me know when new vids dropped.
Richard, Brother you have the place, the talent and the means to build COOL stuff! IMHO You need to get back to doing more of that. It's what we all fell in love with and what we all miss.
Hopefully Richard can get these cars in the system and out of the reach of people who can afford them, probably will end up at one of those price gouging auctions nice job👍
Hi Richard, Been following you pretty much from the Start with A-Ron and you have come a long way from throwing newspapers From the car. Congradulations on your success. Regards Bud Farnsworth
Hey Richard, To bad about that Firebird, would’ve liked to see what you did with it. 3 door suburban looked more like a hearse. 😂 if painted black. all in all great finds!👍🏽✌🏽🇨🇱
Few years ago The Glen in upstate New York was having some kinda classic car/race week end. I was in Corning, New York at the time. A mess of great cars drove down to Corning for diner and drinks in the Gaffer District. Some Prancing Horses, Lotus, Hot rod Vettes, a few Lambos and one bright yellow tubbed and caged Opel GT. Thing was sitting almost on the side pipes. Wheels three times as wide as stock. I'm guessing a snotty V6 based on the growl. One of the coolest rides I've seen in years.
In the UK its called the Austin 1100 or 1200 probably around 1966 or a bit older say 1974 , still get parts in the Uk for it. Hope that helps you out boys
The Austin America was known here in England as the Austin 1100/1300. like a bigger Mini. Hydragas suspension. Try British Motor Heritage think they remanufacture parts for these. Might be good for new door. Love the show. 👍
I had an Austin American. Awesome!! I'd get another in a heartbeat! Fast sewing machine & corners like a magician!! Bigger than an original Mini Cooper. If it runs you'll get $$$ for it.
Amazing how little you managed to pay for the load of vehicles. Equally amazing that the seller found you and you hauled off all of his rust buckets. Win Win for all and another interesting video showing what a good business man you are when investing in vehicles.
Yes amazing 🤩. They were already paid for in cash before they came and picked them up. Not all we’re RUST BUCKETS. OR he WOULD NOT have come and got them. He got ahold of us also. He found us. 🤭
Them 2 Opel’s are really cool, German’s always produced some cool cars... when I was kid growing up back in Europe our neighbor had one and I always thought that was cool car
Then you haven't been watching his buddy Dennis Collins show "Coffee Walk", he's been saving and traveling all over the country saving rare a cool cars way longer. Richard is copying off of Dennis.. Check it out, way cool Jaguars, Foreign and muscle cars. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xb2OchtQTiY.html
@@C.S.Sensei Dennis has gotten a bunch of awesome cars!! Been watching him waaaay longer! (On RU-vid) Your absolutely right tho Richard is copying him. Even the same title lol “Wheels and deals”
@@Josef_R You make no sense. Dennis has a way bigger Jeep business, plus does full restorations all the time. I'm talking about going with a crew and buying "lot's of cars" or one car all over, in barns, in field's, in garages.. And Dennis has a complete mechanic & Body shop. He's copying "Coffee Walk" like everything else Dennis does.
I look at the Austin American and I kinda like the low setting here. And in my Mind the first Word that came to me was a Drag Racer. Tiny, fast and unique.
It's a front wheel drive rot box, bored out mini engine, hydrolastic suspension (you can Google that) they're rubbish, by the time you cross the line it will disintegrate
Richard the Austin America was the Austin 1100 in the uk 🇬🇧 it will have a K series engine if you go onto the inter web you will get plenty of spares in the UK 🇬🇧
At 5:28 minutes as Richard was walking around tge 2 wheel drive Blazer you seea off cream or lihjt yellowish looking 2 dr car that looked from what I could tell was in way better shape then what he bought. Anyone gave an idea what it was?
Yes because of cheap steel, they rotted faster than anything, pile of crap, needs scrapping, see how low it is and that's not just because the suspension needs pumping up
