@@Jaszzzzzzz I’m not. It does take time to learn, but she has a Korean wife and has been living in Korea for the past 7 years. If she studied and immersed herself every day in the language it would take less than 7 years. For example, my cousin who only spoke English went to China to teach English to children. No previous knowledge of Cantonese. After 2 years he spoke fluently. Obviously, not everyone will learn fast, but 7 years is a bit long for the majority who are already living in their host country.

Tbh it's mostly international fans that ship idols together not koreans....korean fans videos are mostly just about the chemistry between certain members but not in a shipping manner, just in a realistic and cute way.....all ir at least the majority of the shippers come from other countries and are just delusional about that, so even if the idola themselves tell them to no do it or that they are dating a girl or whatever they still stick with their narrative and delusion

Assi. And I was like "Kinda nice to see them be so happily gay as totally not stereotypically gay dudes." They were more like the douche-y bro type and I was like good for them to also be proudly gay. Then my friend told me she knew them and they actually are the exact opposite of gay - homophobic a-holes and EXACTLY the douche-y bro types they looked like. One of them apparently always bragged about scoring milfs and so he did that evening aswell.... It's always those types that feel the need to be touchy with their bros so bad, but by god don't want to look gay or the world would end 😂😂 They are the type thinking "it's ok, I said no homo" 😅😅

This is quite interesting. In Latin America women go to the bathroom together, it's no big deal, we do it for safety and companionship. We also greet our male or female friends with a kiss on the cheeks or hug them tightly. We are expressive and affectionate with the people we trust and love, whether they are friends, family, or partners.

I been a fan of Asian dramas and Kpop for years more than ten and still I don’t understand the whole BL stuff and fan service (kiss between members, the ass and private parts grabbing, thigh grabbing). Like it confuses me because I bet some of this idols are in fact gay or Bi and they can’t say it and they get really touchy with their members. Also I hate that straight members have to do it even if they don’t want you. Like when Zelo from B.A.P told himchan he hated that himchan touch his butt and Himchan laughed and he told him I meant it stop I don’t like it, feels like sexual harassment to me. The whole crossing legs in America and Mexico is for gay men, so when I saw that in Korean idols I’m like are they gay later I learn is to look like a gentleman in Korea. The hand holding with your girl friend at least where I live is normal, for Mexicans or Americans.

Why do homosexual people call themselves queer instead of gay? This is just a question out of curiosity, I hope I didn't offend anyone. 💕
@user-dg3ug7ny5d
@user-dg3ug7ny5d Год назад
It's a part of this community's evolution in language usage, and is a generational thing. It is sometimes considered by the older generations to be offensive, because being called queer was a slur in their times. It has since been "reclaimed" and used by this community for the following reasons; Largely, it's to be more inclusive. We should be a unified community, and it allows people to feel more included despite their possible differences in attraction and identity. It means you can protect some of your identity by stating you're queer, without specifying an exact labeled attraction that may cause social rejection or just feel too personal for a person to openly display to anyone. It also means that you don't have to constantly come out to people if your attraction changes, a different label suits you better, or you decide to go unlabelled. This is quite common in our community, and so just going as 'queer' reduces internal questioning over a current label, having to keep others informed, the anxiety related to having to come out to everyone again, and any other things. As @This doodo kindly reminded me, 'queer' is also used by people because sexuality is a spectrum and people experience attraction in a multitude of ways that can't be described by a restrictive label or a preconceived idea of what fits into one "box" and not another. It's freeing. As they describe it, "Sometimes you feel no form of attraction to a gender for a long/short time and then it comes back. So you just label yourself as queer." It's just a nice, inclusive word. It allows you to define what being queer means and looks like for yourself, too. Hopes this helps! Thanks for asking :)

@@user-dg3ug7ny5d I thought you can’t change attraction like I thought it’s not a choice.
@user-dg3ug7ny5d
@user-dg3ug7ny5d Год назад
@@Numbll It's complicated to explain and do excuse my morning brain, but I'll try. Attraction isn't a choice; it's just something your brain does and the physiological responses that come with it. It is a choice to engage in an attraction, though, which is leading into what I meant. What I was referring to was the idea of 'compulsory heterosexuality,' a.k.a. "comp(ulsory)het(erosexuality)". Basically, it's how heteronormative social pressures impact peoples' abilities to engage in their true attraction/s, let alone realise them. E.g. many queer women experience this and are forced into cis, hetero relationships with men. Despite not being into men, the heteronormative social pressures represented by the dominant BVAs of family, friends, and greater society push them into the relationship. Often comphet is internalised, meaning that people who experience it are so deeply entrenched in its impacts that they aren't aware of it until they figure it out (often much later in life), if they figure it out. So by me saying "your attraction changes" (I can see how it's confusing, possibly reductive, language), what I mean is the internal process of how someone's attraction is perceived, as in, you can discuss attraction as a "before and after" of understanding comphet and recognising it within yourself and your present and/or past relationship/s. There is no language to distinguish between this recognition and the quality of a relationship and the experience you get out of it, before recognising comphet compared to after. So "attraction changes" is the best way I can put it, because it kinda is. The brain patterns of those affected by comphet would show the body "lying" to itself by creating untrue feelings of attraction, and so you would count that pre-recognition stage to post-recognition as a "change in attraction". Literally because your body can fake attraction, but it just isn't felt as true as the "real experience". E.g. people affected by comphet feel like their relationship doesn't live up to what others explain attraction is: breathless at their entrance into a room, bright, floaty feeling, a source of life and energy, etc. After realising comphet, leaving that affected relationship, and possibly entering a new relationship that soothes their true attraction, people experience what is said when attraction is mutual and complete. I hope this makes sense. Ideas like this are still without proper language to explain it and I don't have a Doctorate in queer studies, so this is all me recognising patterns in peoples' relationship experiences and trying to explain it in my own language I can understand, and that can best convey what I mean to others.

@@user-dg3ug7ny5d You explain well to me because since lgbt is well known right now there are some people who hop on and say they are… but they are not and for me that’s very disrespectful. So when I saw “attraction can change” I was huh? So now I understand where that was coming from.

@@Numbll Thank you for listening and asking for an explanation. It's important to weed out bigots by questioning what they mean, so thanks again. I hope it was informative :)

Europeans have definitly more in common with east asians than US americans. Even when the LGBTQ in asia is not that supported they are more open minded and have more natural behaviour than straights in US. Asians should not compare only with US culture as "foreigners". There are much more cultures they will confirm that east asians are not weird or extreme or the only one doing xy. But to live such long time in Korea without learning the language is beyond me. Korean is the easiest asian language to learn, a beautiful and interesting language. Without the language skills you are living like a disabled human.

I only ask when I already knew that the line will be long so I can talk with somebody while waiting. But would go alone if no other one needs to pee. Another opportunity is, that I asked I girl to join me if I think she would be harassed if I leave her alone or be scared of me one.

I would like to say this. I am not sure where the girl from America is from but that stuff they talk about is common for the area I am living in… Well all except the touching butts. That is done only between close friends or family. You see sports people especially those on a team do it a lot.
