Amazing mini series / documentary. The production quality and editing is great. I loved rediscovering my country through your eyes and camera (and drone) lenses. Well done and hopefully all is well with you, since we are quite a bit later since you posted these videos.

Ahh, as you complete the trip, the heart of Belgium breaks and it cries for your absence and thunders in your wake. What a journey! You're probably excited to rest and spend time with the family, but what's next? Thanks again for the quality filming and editing in the series. You look vibrant as ever, Peter!

Fun adventure Peter. I enjoyed watching it even though I have zero interest in beer. But I do love cycling and travel so there was certainly something here for me. Thanks for all your hard work creating this series.

You introduced yourself to the great Trappist beers in the very best possible way...by touring! While Westmalle brune is comparable to commercially produced copies of Trappist ales, the Trappist Triple was invented at Westmalle, and is considered by some as the industry standard.

Westmalle, the refuge place for the Last two monks of Achel abbey. Achel lost its legal status as Trappist monastery and brewery then.

To have 10 days in Belgium and the only rain is at the finish line is pretty unique in itself! Great trip. Westmalle (triple) is my favourite actually (and Orval my least) - but, hey, everyone’s taste is different.

Westmalle is pretty standard . I still like it tho. But nothing goes above a good lambic. It's brewed around Brussels
@PeterBragiel
@PeterBragiel 5 лет назад
Thijs Ik i’d have to agree. Out of all the Trappists beers Westmalle was probably my least favorite. I would’ve loved to visit the lindemans brewery if we had the time.
@kiekkefretter
@kiekkefretter 5 лет назад
Real Lambic or Gueuze are only made in Brussels and around the city 'cause it's the only place in the world were are the yeasts Brettanomyces bruxellensis and Brettanomyces lambicus, that lambic need for a spontaneous fermentation.

Hype, I still think the whole pinky debacle was a conspiracy to add conflict to the show, ultimately to increase viewership but willing to overlook that
