Son-in-law bought a different brand's version and he had an issue with the meat wrapping around the axles and not coming out the bottom.

That’s interesting. We have never had that issue. Have him try to put the blades and axles in the freezer for 20 minutes before he uses them. We do that with our grinders and stuffers to prevent stuff from gumming up. Just an idea….

could you put it back thru (probably "sideways") and end up with little cubes?

Hmmmmm, that’s a good question. I suppose in theory you could. Depending on how perfect you’d want to get the cubes, you’d have to wait to crank to get each piece laying across the blade evenly. The feed chute is pretty long so feeding a piece sideways would be the challenge…..I’d think.

Great review, can you share any details on the orange tub? Looks like it’s collapsible?

Yes...it's a collapsable tub. if you search on Amazon for orange collapsible multis bin-portable wash basin you should be able find it. Let us know. It is very handy and we use it a lot.
