My theory of the big reveal: Bernard is wayyyyy in the future. Like almost everyone's dead and gone and he's trying to restart humanity (hence the machine that's building a person).

Love the string cheese tower name, but it looks more like a web. Charlottes web to be exact

Interesting placement of Charlotte’s building, is that where the Statue of Liberty normally sits if that is a recreation of NY? If so, is she welcoming outsiders to a new future. “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.”

"post apocalyptic wasteland" looks like Arizona to me.

I think the biggest hint at what is coming is all the web imagery (logo and tower shown at the end). Coupled with the flies, flies caught in a web etc My theory from the trailer is that Halores is creating a "park" but in the real world (aka a world in the west - America / westworld) maybe call it "future world" also the reasons for the lyrics of "it's just a perfect day" because it's manufactured perfection. The opposite of chaos that chalores was victim of last season Her army that is being created I theorise as being replacements for humans that she lures into her web "original westworld park" and then is effectively swapping them out as a means to create a robot version of the world with humans eradicated. The red map is her control/park so far. That is why Caleb and maeve go to the 1920 westworld, and Bernard later too, to see what's going on. As to how the flies play into it, maybe they could be used to kill humans or as a means of control or something With the man in black, I think he is going to be kept alive cryogenically, which then in the future they will use as a means to do a comparison fidelity test to what we saw at the end of season 2. Robot man in black I can see as turning good, highlighting that he always had the capacity to change. Maybe he's the one to do the test to see if he is "real" Delores is possibly either a blank slate with no memories, or one is a sphere from one of the 5 from last season. But her travelling to that house makes me thinks she is trying to regain a memory or something With regards to who's picking up that shotgun shell thing, I just hope it's teddy as he was the one who picked it up instead of MIB Anyways I am probably way off as with every season, but I'm looking forward to it and all the other theories that people have for the show

I loved all three seasons of the show and it’s characters especially dolores when she showed up in the trailer i freaked out

6:57 Maybe these insects are nanobots infecting human brains and the people we saw dancing earlier are actually humans getting programmed to be hosts? Maybe Charlotte is aiming for a complete role reversal of humans and hosts in some kind of cruel revenge? O_o Edit: Seems i was right!! 😅

I can't wait. I really loved all 3 seasons so far (yes, even season 3) because I find the show an interesting take, even if it isn't all that original. The robots/AI take over is a pretty common sci-fi trope, but the presentation of Westworld is interesting. I like how it almost feels like an rearranged version of a similar stories from the genre, but from the point of view of the AI as they are not only the potential inheritors of the Earth, but also those on the morally correct side if such a thing even exists. The section from the preview really interesting where they seem to be printing "human" hosts now from the bones out, creeping further towards that Blade Runner style take on the story where the ambiguity comes into play and asks the question, what is artificial or robotic life if it is made out of flesh and blood like a human being? Hopefully it won't disappoint, but I'm not going to hold my breath. As long as the show is fun and tries to tackles some interesting themes then I'm in.

Think we are seeing parallels with season 1. Maeve’s daughter with the version 1 bot. Looks like a new park is coming based on the roaring 20s. My gut…..we will see that in the end Hosts set up a Park to study humans. Not to fuck with them, but to try to understand the minds that created them. And I think we may see the mother of all Time Jumps. Think we are in the far far future.

For whatever reason every time this show comes out with a new season I have to watch the previous one before to remind myself of what happened prior.

Wait! What? Westworld is coming back? OMG silly me! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I thought the series was done! I must’ve assumed it was all over when they wiped Dolores‘ memory and I guess I forged ahead through my seven stages of grief for the show. Anyway you just made my day!:)

it can be a tricky narrative this season. i wonder if william's host will quickly breakdown like delos before him. it seems Maeve and Caleb are in some escape "game", like in the previous seaon when Maeve had found a way to break the simulation. The 'flies cloud' thing is strange, maybe a virus from the valley beyond.

I think it’s bees (drones, worker bees) and a hive is run by a Queen bee (like that AI in season 3) -bees would have lot of metaphors for the writers to play with

4:50 - that's Charlotte Abernathy NOT Charlotte Hale as Dolores killed her near the end of S3.

The island that the bridge connects to is Manhattan. There are recognizable buildings, include One World Trade Center in the shot.

Oh man. They’re going to do the same flashback/backwards story telling of season two again I bet with Bernard recounting it. That’s how they did season 2 and I don’t see why they wouldn’t do it again for season 4 especially with the multiple timelines set up- it’s the only logical conclusion. I’m not a huge fan of multiple timelines as a plot device for keeping the audience guessing what’s happening, but I am stoked for the season because I love this show.

Is it about who created who first ? Humans created ai/bots or ai/bots created humanity ?

caleb's new hairstyle makes him look younger than his season 3's hairstyle. wonder if that means anything 🤔... based in this first episode, I think this season has the potential to be the best one of all. let's hope they don't screw it up and get the show canceled. there are still so many parks to cover... im hoping they do it right by the viewers. it started out amazingly good! please keep it up?!?!

That tower indeed looks like a spider web and spider webs are catchiing flies in real life. The flies can be nanorobots sent by halores to make humans obey her when they get into the new park. In previous season there was a big accent on a drugs which were used by humans, and i think it was with purpose. Even caleb himself was under some kind of a drug and the writes of the series wouldnt emphasize drugs without a purpose. This shot with a close up of someone eye is identical with a shot of a shot of a Teddy becoming eliv in season 2. which mean these flies affect humans and change them. Its hard to guess who created Dolores, it might be Bernard but its hard to say that now, cuz i think bernard returned to real world in the end of a season 2 (and thats far future) where is william stuck with his doughter robot. Looking forward to this season.

I have a theory about the final 'twist' in Westworld: there are no humans, everyone's a host or a simulation.

Perhaps when Bernard returns from the sublime it's Dolores. When Dolores uploaded herself she remained in the system so she rebuilds herself.

The flies have something to do with Ford.

The flys fly into humans to gain control over them…. To reverse places with hosts where humans lost all control, and are now the hosts in the parks. The dark coloured wearing people are hosts of old, now taking the roll of humans like in season 1 , where they go to parks to kill, rape etc. the humans, being controlled by the flies that enter them are now the toys of sort of hosts. The skeleton is to repair human hosts . So season 4 will be like season 1, where it’s now reversed. With hosts exploitation of humans, and now the hosts like Maeve, tubs etc will fight to stop exploit of humans in way they were before. Empathetic vs sociopathic. My opinion.right or wrong, I’m in for season 4
