Thanks for watching Hugh there's always strange noise in any woods it just depends on how you handle it I will hopefully get up to Galloway forest in the new year mate atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Was a good night Jimmy from the bits I can remember lol.. I think I'll give Harwood a miss for a few weeks until any bad weather is gone. There are lots of trees that have come down like you mentioned earlier and there will be more destabilized with the wind. Stay safe, there are literally hundreds of widow makers in Harwood at the minute.
Thanks for watching Damien it was definitely a good night your a bad influence them drinks were flying down 🤣🤣🤣 last night was a scary one in harwood the trees were coming down every minute I will be staying away for a few weeks there is a big storm coming on Tuesday with high winds and snow be crazy to go up there atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Thanks always Jimmy , your consistently putting stuff up and I'm grateful for it as are many other I'd say , well done to you and Rooney and Damian aswell today
Thanks for watching Mick how's your leg healing mate hope your well it was a cold night but the new buffalo jacket is amazing and kept me nice and warm atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
I've got that exact same Special 6 Buffalo shirt, in fact I've recently got the detachable hood to go with it. It's a god send after a hike and I get changed out of me sweaty layers and wear it next to the skin while I'm setting up camp.
Thanks for watching Jack they are a great top to have so warm I watched a video were a bloke jumped into a river with the jacket and bottoms on then walked a few miles in cold weather and he stayed worm 😁😁 atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Nice one Jimmy - great craic and a top session out! As you say, there is another storm due Tuesday so with the trees already weakened, it might be a bit of a lottery out there! ATB pal
Thanks for watching Chris ye I'm giving the woods a miss for a bit Saturday night was a scary time we had to bail out with trees crashing down atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Cracking meet up lads. Can't believe the amount of wood you guys cut, great for the wood store. Yeah we've had some cold weather of late, I just wish it would stop raining. Thanks Jimmy for the upload and also talking all things paranormal, I do like the spooky aspect of wild camping
Thanks for watching Ant we had a cracking night out most of that wood is still there 🤣🤣🤣 we had some great conversations about spooky and paranormal things this woods is a damp place but the rain makes it worse atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Hi Jimmy great video mate, can't beat a night in the woods in the hammock although sometimes it can be spooky and now n then we have a shite nights kip but its still worth it can't wait go next myself. Stay safe mate 👍🏻
Thanks for watching Carl I love being in the woods if I had a choice between a week on holiday in a hot country or a week in the woods the woods would win 🤣🤣 it can get spooky but we just puss on ate it could put you off camping atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Great video Jimmy. A top guest and top craic. I will confess that my head does occasionally go a bit when camping on my own. I’m pretty good at controlling it and it only lasts for a minute or two, but the fear does creep in especially when there are strange noises. Right I’m gonna go to see if Damian has uploaded a vid from the camp. Cheers Jimmy lads. All the best mate ✊🏻
Thanks for watching Simon I'm sure your not the only person that gets spooked on a solo camp I do but the thing is if we let it get to us we wouldn't go back out that's why I like to listen to the radio when I'm chilling out in front of the fire if you don't do that give it a go atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
@@LundysWildcampBushcraft yes mate I do often take a radio for that very reason. The fire and the radio are a god send sometimes lol. All the best!! 👍👍
Been wearing buffalo jackets for over 20 years now. I wear the tops on their own for all cold weather trips.they can dry out with body heat but it is best to wear a gortex if it's lashing down. I was in 101 hq battery long time ago,it was the ta that got me interested into the walking/ wildcamping
Thanks for watching John when did you leave the reg myself and Roney were 101 reg I start in 204bty then 205bty Roney was 203bty lot's of good times and some shit 🤣🤣 the buffalo jacket is a cracking bit of kit I can't believe it's took me so long to get one atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Back in the day, when I had my big bike (Yamaha XV1000 Virago) in the winter I wore a Buffalo Mountain Jacket and matching trousers under a set of knock off Belstàff waxed cotton jacket and trousers, nothing got through that combo and my central core was always warm
Thanks for watching mate the buffalo kit is a fantastic addition for the outdoors I'm now looking at getting the trousers yes they are heavy compared to the down clothes but they still keep you warm if they get wet atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Thanks for watching mate appreciate it we definitely had a great night out the bed is so comfortable and a good hight but unfortunately the storm has maid the cap unsafe 😢😢 as you will see on the next video atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Cracking video mate enjoyed watching it I think it will always be good crack with Damien because he's as mad as a hatter and that's in a good way all the best for 2022 mate 👍
Great video as ever Jimmy. Good to see Damo making an appearance and having the crack together. Would of been a long spooky night if you would of been on your own with all the noises in there Loved it Jimmy and looking forward to the next one. Atvb Andy 🌲🌲🌲⛺⛺🚶♂️🚶♂️🌲🌲🌲
Thanks for watching Andy appreciate it mate ye was great to have Damien join me I'm sure I would have kept myself busy with something if I was out alone we had a good laugh and good conversation about harwood and RU-vid atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Tell ya what Jimmy, I reckon you needed that good fire mate. Looked a cold skanky one for sure. Definitely not fair weather campers you lads 🙂. Good banter as always mate Atb Rick n Billydog
Thanks for watching Rick it was definitely a cold one mate we had a good night out some great conversations about all sorts of stuff and a good drink 🤣🤣 atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Great video mate good to see the new camp starting to take shape hope you continue with it Rooney was a miss with his excellent cooking and words of wisdom I have to say mate I've only camped up there twice back in the day and that wood in my opinion is definitely haunted the noises I heard during the night was was spooky to say the least it's the only time I've slept or tried to axe 🪓 in one hand and knife 🔪 in the other thanks for sharing mate and a thumbs up ♠️
Thanks for watching Norman he definitely was a miss mate there definitely is something up there I've heard lots of strange things and felt like I was being watched but if I let it get to me it might stop me camping up there I always sleep with my neck knife on and main knife next to me 🤣🤣 atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Authorities said to avoid these areas after the storm , i reckon something fishy going on around there , great video love seeing how to survive cozy camp
Thanks for watching mate appreciate it this camp was a week before storm arwen I didn't camp in the storm but I did go out this Saturday and we had to bail out as it was dangerous that video will be out on Sunday if you fancy watching it atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
@@LundysWildcampBushcraft aye will do for sure , got myself a vango tryfan200 just to start camping next year sometime but that's all i have lol , i live in northumberland so i don't have far to travel and explore
It's either the cameras OR, Damián's eyes are some real piercing blue colour. Which do you reckon is better for your back, the Hammock or the raised hard wooden bed?
Thanks for watching Rob I've not really took any notice of his eyes if I get the correct lay the hammock but I do like the bushcraft bed what do you prefer mate atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
@@LundysWildcampBushcraft I never feel myself 100% secure in a Hammock unless it has spreader bars I can guy out and peg down. So yeah, either on the ground, but much prefer a raised stretcher type bed tbh.
@@RobertsBulgaria I like ground dwelling but winter months it's much better to hammock camp just for warmth and staying dry but you definitely need to get the proper lay are it can be uncomfortable 😎😎👍👍
Awesome video as usual. Sometimes it's best to turn off the 🎥, less incriminating evidence and more plausible deniability. Cheers 🍻, take care and stay frosty.
hi jimmy, another nice camp you have had, well, was this before the storm ? and have you been back since the storm, it says online all forestry commission forests are closed, including thrunton and simonside, i will have a drive up maybe tomorrow or wednesday simonside i will climb the ridge and look down onto the trees. keep em coming
Thanks for watching mate appreciate it this was the week before I didn't go out during the storm but my next video we had a nightmare up there mate that forest is unsafe at the moment we had trees falling down all around us on Saturday night had to pack up and get out atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
@@LundysWildcampBushcraft so this was last weekend , a week after the storm , wow trees still falling, so is the access open I fancy a walk and a look ? The paths should be ok.
As you know my channel is a fact based channel containing...facts. This is why I watch to the end of your videos, just to get a new or possibly old fact from Roney. Not having a fact at the end of this film has left me bereft and heartbroken and that's a fact, I'm not sure I'll ever be the same again. I had to stop as I was waffling some sh#te there, great video as always young man. Looking forward to 'Escape from Armageddon' next weeks exciting instalment.
Thanks for watching Si sorry there wasn't a few facts from Roney the fact is he wasn't there 🤣🤣 the escape from Armageddon could be a good title that 😁😁 atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
