I am a van dweller but I love wild camping videos.. Every time I hit some major annoyance I think about you guys and your lifestyle/hobby/avocation and realize I am living the easy life. I have adapted some of your ideas, water proof camping blankets, a zero degree sleeping bag in case all my mod cons fail in the van (yes I watch a lot of British comedies/travel logs/historical programs etc etc etc....) Keep up the good work.

Great video Jimmy. Love Harwood there's something about this place that makes it special for wildcamping. Gutted you didn't do any woops or tree knocks for the wild man. Will be making a visit to Harwood myself in the autumn for an overnighter on my own to spook myself out. 👍

Great video buddy really enjoyed watching. It's surprising how sheltered pine woodlands are. I camped in a pinewood through storm Desmond a few years back and it wasn't too bad until you went out the wood. Hope your mates hand was ok your grub looked lush. Atb & take care, Garry.,👍👍

I was surprised Jimmy that you didn't wear any head gear for most the night. It must have been like a fridge. Mind you that was a giant fire. It no doubt chucked out some heat and you were warmed by good grub. Well, hope your mates hand is OK. Good going. Mark

Hey Jimmy, enjoyed this one mate, nice hammock set up, even in summer I wear loads of clothes, always wear a buff, hat and gloves , I pull that buff right up over my gob too, had the same as you a couple of times with the under blanket being too tight... it's a bloody minefield hammocking. Lee

Proper campfire that, Jimmy! Looks like you were gonna burn a whole person in it. Also, that’s a good looking casserole, I found myself singing along to Bonnie Tyler whilst you were making it! We have the same head torch. I got given it by a guy I met on a hike. I really like it, so powerful (the head torch, not the guy). 😅 Can’t believe how mild it was in the woods compared to when you came out of there! Bloody hell Jimmy that sounded like a nasty cut Roonie received mate. You can’t stress enough can you how much we all need to take a first aid kid with you when we camp. Nice spot this mate too, is it a large forest? Just admiring that little bowl too you had at the side when you were making your hot chocolate, is it made from wood Jimmy?
