In March 2023, the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) Humanitarian Aid Program visited Sri Lanka to evaluate the effectiveness of its support there, and to get updates on the current needs of its bleeding disorders community. The end goal was to evaluate how the Program’s support is helping the country get closer to sustainable care. The team talked with specialists, the national member organization (NMO), and of course, people with bleeding disorders (PWBDs). One of the things that came out of the visit was an inspirational video that showcases how the lives of two people have been touched by the Program.
