WGN remembers longtime former meteorologist Jim Ramsey 

RIP Jim Ramsey, me and the whole Chicagoland will miss you. If you see Dick Johnson, Bob Petty, Tim Weigel, Joel Daly, Hugh Hill, Jerry Taft, John Drury, Harry Volkman, John Coughlin, Warner Saunders, Dick Kay, Phil Walters, Mike Hammernik, Randy Salerno, Jack Jones, Russ Ewing, Jim Tlimon, Darrien Chapman, Mike Parker, and of course Allison Payne and Meri Dee, tell these angels we all say hello. 🙏🏾❤️

I grew up watching Jim on the weekends. May he rest Easy

Aww I missed his deep voice when he retired. It’s sad whenever someone you watch growing up retire and a few years later then pass away.

I really enjoyed his broadcast!!

He was a great weather man and we got to see his comedic chops on the morning show . My prayers and thoughts go out to his family and his WGN family .

Growing Up watching Jim Ramsey on numerous occasion fill in for Tom Skilling outside the Chicago area in Birmingham, Alabama in the Late 90's and all of the 2000's.
