I've copied your strategy. Went from ~100k dmg to 240k! My Ragnar, Calgar and Eldy are agound D3 and close to maxed up skills, but Rosie and Aun are barely golden and in low 40 skill wise. So I didn't expect to see a big dmg bump. 140% of increase was a nice shock 😂
the problem is that you're not using your party's greatest strength. Rosie does very well during the battle and puts up a 20% debuff for two turns in the second round. But your primary damage comes from using Ragnar's double active ability. BUT on turn 2, this does not benefit 3 of your 5 characters. Instead of Eldryon, use a very good only melee dd. Or Aethana.
You do make a good point, yes, but my options for that are pretty much a D2 Bellator who would probably do less than Roswitha on the followup turns (let's say 2000 attack with Calgar's buff, minus armor, times six, vs Rose who consistently deals 14k damage with Calgar's buff), or a G3 Aethana who'd go poof rather quick to random stuff, and Eldryon at least makes Ragnar last a turn or two longer by drawing Magnus' gaze. So yeah, I am aware there's better compositions, but I don't have them built (F2P progresses slowly). Personally, I'd want Helbrecht for this instead of Eldryon, and I'm pretty close to unlocking him, only need about 440 more shards!
yep not easy if you chars not full i know. For me Rosie one of the highest dmg. With Calgar she can hit 16-18k / round. G3 Aethana good for nothing in this lvl. You need Kharn or Snott :)
Yeah, I got a G1 Kharn and a S3 Snotflogga. 😅 I'm just happy that Roswitha came back to being useful - I'd got her from the very first HRE after launch, she was really nice against the Tyranid bosses back then, so I built her to D1, then Eldy + Multi-Hit strats came so she went out of style a bit, but then returned when Mortarion came into the game so I built her a little more, and now she's very nearly D3... So yeah. I use what I got.
