I'm not even from the US, I'm from India. And I'm a guy. I find your content relaxing and hunger inducing at the same time. Plus, I feel so homesick, when I watch your videos. I guess we all feel, at some point, homesick for some place we will never be... keep it up.
This is the first birria taco recipe I've seen without using the peppers. And I'm so down to make it now, because it looks so complicated, I love how you found a better way. Now I'm going to make it like this for my family!
I'd like to know how they come out and if you all liked them if you do. Originally they're made with goat meat but you can also use lamb, pork or in this case beef. They're so good but this easier version I'm curious about.
You probably don't know him but Rick Bayless owns Frontera Grill who makes a whole line of Mexican real true Mexican things. He's a michelin-starred chef and goes to Mexico every year two pictures ingredients and he lived there for many years so when you buy Frontera you are buying quality Mexican foods. :-)
That birria recipe was good! I ended up using the leftover sauce to cook my rice in and I was pretty happy with how that turned out. Thanks for a great, easy recipe.
You’re my favorite to watch at bedtime to unwind. I have been using atleast one meal idea from you a week for several weeks now! So happy I found your channel!
Birria is just one of those foods that is complex and takes a long time to cook for a reason - it’s extremely flavorful. It’s like saying that you’re trying a “quick” version of a sourdough or a brisket. There’s just really no substitution for time! In Mexico birria cooks for 24-48 hours before you get to eat it. But in a pinch, what Kristin made sounds great!
My husband is a great cook. He makes very elaborate meals but I like tasty, easy and quick. Occasionally I make my comfort food and he is beginning to share our menus. I am going to incorporate your meals into it. Thanks
Great idea to use up the rest of the buffalo chicken dip! Very creative!! I'm also from the great state of Kentucky. Thanks for sharing. I love your videos!
That is such an easier way to make them tacos. My brother made them, loved them, sent me the recipe and holy shit,!! 900 dishes later, 9000 minutes later, and 9000000 degrees Fahrenheit later, we had amazing tacos!
You’ve got to try jimmy dean ground sage sausage, Alfredo sauce, Tomato sauce, And spaghetti noodles. So delicious and easy. Mix it all together and it’s like a creamy tomato pasta dish😍
Hey girl, just thought I'd let you know birria is pronounced like beer with an "ia" on the end. So, beeria. Unless of course you use a Spanish accent then you would roll the "r's".
Hi amazing momma!!!! We did the birria tacos last night!! My husband who is Mexican loved them. He said they were really good, not authentic but still good. I think I may add them to the rotation!! Thanks for all you do!
I've also seen that taco recipe, and you made me want to try it! I think it would be a hit with my family. The chicken and rice dish at the end looked so good too. Thanks for sharing!
Fantastic job.really delicious meals 😋 thank you so much for sharing your recipes 👍🤗 I hope y'all are doing great, staying safe happy and healthy 🙏🙏🤗🦋💕😊😊
Your videos are so entertaining and so simple, been watching since yesterday I’m enjoying all the videos. Especially since it’s Ramadan and I’m fasting lol
Wow! I don't really like chicken and rice, but I made the Bacon Ranch Chicken Rice and it was the bomb. I made burritos for my lunch with leftovers. Thanks!!!
Loved the little raviolis! Wish I could find this here 🇨🇦 and YES girl we all need a break sometimes and to give ourselves a little grace. And FYI even your ‘off’ week is bangin’! 🙌🙌🥰🙌💕
I love watching all your videos all your dinners look so delicious and I have made a couple of them and they were big hits in my house you were so real and true I truly love all your videos keep up the good work
Meal planning is a struggle for me too. I’ve got a picky eater, I’m trying to lose a couple of pounds, plus I don’t like buying ingredients that only work for one meal. I love your recipes they are super easy to make and can be modified to accommodate all of us. I always look forward to your videos.
Girl birria is the easiest thing to make. All you need is a whole onion, a whole garlic head, 6 bayleaves, 5-8 dried guajillo peppers, or california chiles. Walmart and kroger carry them. Boil it or in the crockpot until meat is done. You dont have to blend the chiles but if you do just blend them and oass it thru ur straightner and done. Try it trust ne its sooooo easy and delicious.
I really enjoy your dinners and get some great ideas from you. I also want to point out that I absolutely adore your china collection! I am someone who is obsessed with dishes and such and I have so many different sets for different occasions. I really enjoy seeing yours as well. ☺️
Sometimes I just want to eat a bowl of cereal for dinner lol but I love these videos, you're awesome kristen, and your kids are gonna have the sweetest memories! 😁
First time I have ever commented on anyone's video lol I have been dying to try birria tacos but it looks so complicated. I can't wait to try yours I already added everything to my walmart pickup! Your frito pie recipe is a staple at my house and this week I made your chicken pot pie recipes from your Halloween video and we loved it !
That's the thing about Birria Tacos they take time, but it's for a reason. The peppers is what adds the traditional birria flavor. Nonetheless it's cool that you made an easier version of it for those who want to satisfy their birria craving 💖
Omg this may be my favorite video yet. They all look amazing! Thanks for meal planning for me next week!! Would love a video sometime of how you meal plan and your process with that.
oh, man, I am so glad I saw this in order to get that easier Beef Birria recipe! I watched Simply Mama Cooks make authentic beef birria, and while it looks awesome, it needed many items I wouldn't have been able to get easily. We don't like corn tortillas, but I will try this with flour to see what we thing, I think
Have you done a grocery haul? I’m not sure if you’ve done them before and I know prices vary, but I’m trying to see what is a reasonable grocery budget for just two people, 2 adults, lol. I know you have children, but I think it would be cool to know grocery budgets and things like that :).
Hi Kristin!! Another great video of delicious meals. I'm excited to add a few of these to my meal plan. Everything looks so delicious. Hope you have a great day and week. Stay safe. God bless.
O my Hanna sweetie I love everything but you definitely had me at Tacos!!!!!! Definitely trying these!!!! Going to pick up the taco packages this weekend!!!! Have a Blessed week ahead ♥️
Would you consider doing a grocery haul and meal plan? I absolutely love your whats for dinners but im also obsessed with grocery hauls. Thank you for all the great content and recipes.
You're supposed to pull sauce over the tacos once they are done and dip as well. This is supposed to be a very wet affair! That sounds kind of bad but you know what I mean.
