I remember seeing those comments in the past about deviled egg (from one commenter in particular who commented it on SEVERAL videos) and I thought the exact same thing. Truly baffling! We adore you!
I've never even seen a deviled egg recipe with vinegar as a ingredient 😂 but you're right the mustard mayo and relish all have vinegar. I don't add relish to mine but a while back at a potluck someone brought some with relish and my kids loved them but told me I needed to keep mine the same. They are very particular about their deviled eggs and they call them meviled eggs.
Happy anniversary (belated). Im glad you had a nice vacation. Sorry about your ankle! No one should be telling you how to make YOUR food. Sometimes I put raisins in my tuna salad if I don't have sweet pickles. Some may say that's horrible, but they don't have to make theirs that way. I have never put vinegar in my deviled eggs, and never will! I agree with you, people should find a better use of their time. 🤨

Deviled just simply means highly seasoned in the origin from which it came from aka using things like mustard, pickle, paprika etc. It has nothing to do with using vinegar itself. People just need to look it up. LOL
LOL no one makes deviled eggs right except for me. We all feel that way about many things, naming a few would be chili, meatloaf, potato salad. We all know the best and ours or our moms are the best. I don't put vinegar in my deviled eggs, wth are people talking about. I use dry mustard and don't agree with people who use yellow liquid mustard but guess what, if I was at a party and that's what they had, I'd scarf them up lol. And mine are the best lol. I'm just kidding, pretty sure I wasn't part of this and if I said anything it would be humorously like here. I've also had the back when Pace picante version of deviled eggs. Would I eat them again? Of course. I will never turn down a deviled egg but mine are best. Lol. I stick to the tried and true Betty Crocker recipe, the classic. Now if you look that up today you will find others but it's simple and it's the best. Relsh in deviled eggs I laugh too. No offense lol. It belongs in egg salad MAYBE in a variation. I work so much I have no time for posts like this. I'd eat yours and I would eat ANYONE's but maybe not those who add vinegar lol, that's intended to get at them for your sake. Dry mustard is one of the main KEYS salt and pepper, mayo, garnished with paprika. THAT is the classic deviled egg. In the RIGHT ratio when it comes to these.
You’re very right. We all have our own way of making things. I don’t know why people get so offended with food. Make things how you like and unless someone is trying to force you to eat something, how someone else does something really isn’t anyone’s business

lol, who is to say what the "correct" way it is to make ANYTHING?!!! That's what makes it fun to cook, you can do anything you want to make anything. Some people can't help themselves having to be a downer for anything and act like they know everything. I made tartar sauce on my channel once and someone said it's not tartar sauce without dill.... I have never heard of dill in tarter sauce, but hey if you put dill in tarter sauce..then fine you do you...its your kitchen!
I don’t get it either. Who cares how someone else makes something? I mean, unless they’re trying to force you to eat it, it’s not hurting you…I rarely put dill in mine either
And who cares whether they have vinegar or not? You always say on your channel to make recipes your own and to use what you have. And BTW these look great! 😊
