Had the opportunity to meet and train with Kyle in Boise, ID during a course. Not only is a highly capable dude, but he was AWESOME to interact with. Laid back, super informative. The best part though was that it felt like he wanted to make you better. He was just as involved with the older dudes, the ladies, and the younger dudes. If you ever get the chance to train with him, do not skip it.
It’s very common for delta guys to purposely leave out they were in delta. I trained with Rick Hogg recently. He just says he was in army special operations. He never says delta. Same with Kyle Lamb. It’s their culture.
@@alexander1902 pretty sure he was a full fledged operator. But even if he was just “support” the point still stands. In unpopular in the unit to actually say delta.
The dudes that don’t make money off it keep it on the low. These guys on RU-vid, doing interviews with the navy guy, they led with it. Seals are the worst at dropping their mos.
Did you notice when he showed his second pistol and he quickly checked what was in the line of the muzzle whole speaking about the sight ? Muscle memory. Know what your muzzle is pointed at every time.
(Kyle) I have mad respect for your skill and service but for content it would be amazing if some of these Creators who know could do some kit by price breakdown for instance I do not have 5k to spend for a "truck gun" and 10k for my threat loadout rig. videos that do it in 1k levels would be great especially in these tough times and not many of us have CAG castoffs laying around :)
What made you go with the 11.5” 5.56 spear over the 9” 300 blackout version? Genuinely curious, cause I’m about 5 days away from purchasing the 300 blackout version. Now I’m 2nd guessing myself, seeing you have the 5.56 version. 😅🤙🏽
I wish I could ask Kyle directly, about the battery life of that model and if he would use another model with longer hours if it was available for him.
Battery life is fine. How often do you use your gun? Do your “days at the range” last longer than 6 hours? The average person maybe shoots once every other month, the battery would last 5-7 years. I use mine 30 hours per month and get a year out of a battery.
I love hearing this guy talk because theres so much experience behind his words. Grateful as a civilian just to learn anything I can from him. Its pure gold to me.
I said it before and I'll say it again. This man is a national treasure and should be admired and respected by all. Thank you sir for all the sacrifices you have made for us all. It is very much appreciated. God bless.
Kyle Morgan was a Tier 1 special operator. He is a good-hearted Christian and family man, with solid fundamental values and principles. So, of course he is a down to earth man. You always learn "a thing or two" from him. He is a good role model as a former SF vet, and an extraordinary instructor. You go, Kyle! 🇺🇲🫡
You can tell the discipline with the handling and care of each firearm he touches. Always aware of where the muzzle is pointing making sure not to sweep anyone or anything not intended to destroy. Finger off trigger etc..... too many people do not understand this discipline including tactical youtubers and even other professionals. Not discounting the professionals, but some just don't handle their firearms quite like this. great kit and a great man.
I hate all the operator tax that these companies attach to their products. There is absolutely no reason ear pro should cost near 500 dollars especially the non comm models
It's no different than buying a car or buying any name brand piece of equipment, tactical or not. That being said, certain things have cheaper alternatives (ie., cheaper ears), but some things are worth the money. Firearms, optics, plates and carrier, etc. Especially when you're talking about something you're trusting your life with.
I met Kyle at the Sawmill in SC. He did a presentation to a group of Gun Runners after a race. He also put together a shooting stage for us to run after the event. He is the most equipped shooter I’ve ever seen in person, and he transferred a ton of info in the presentation. If you get the opportunity, I would suggest running one of his courses.
Super nice guy, he came into my shop (Guns Plus) asking about training us and unfortunately we didn’t end up doing it but I really wish we had. Totally a missed opportunity to pick this great man’s brain
If Kyle Morgan writes about you in his poetry book, your life expectancy right around 0. If you need an example, you can dig up one those bad guys from Mali and ask him what it’s like.
What a great video. I barely understood any of the technical stuff but you come across as exceptionally down to earth and knowledgeable. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Do you even know why it’s called tier 1? Tier two is just made up for the rubes to think they know something. Hint, it has nothing to do with skill levels.
Interesting run down but not sure why he’s concerned about his belt being able to hold his weight attached to a helicopter since he’s a civilian now. Old habits die hard from the military I guess. Regardless, I’d love to train with this guy!
why no irons for back up on either rifle unless I didnt see them off set or you just didnt say it... i know you have the atpial on the truck gun and the chances of EVERYthing failing are slim but just curious
@@yourfavoritewelder3162 i dont agree with that at all. i can much easier AND faster switch to offset irons, than switch systems. unless youre thinking the sights are stowed then yes I agree.
Yesterday in Toronto I saw a Jamaican Canadian on a Harley Davidson and I am thinking that the times they are changing just like Dylan. Not Dylan Thomas of course. Bob Dylan
You guys should check out the blue force tactical sling. I have the OD green one with the pad. It works great and seems to be made of high quality materials.
Awesome vid. Now that time has formed new opinions, how do you feel about the EOTECH EFLX vs the Delta Point Pro? I remember a while back that was your go to optic.
this video reminded me of sfod d wearing black plate carriers in the 90s. i saw it from black hawk down and looked for actual photos to confirm they actually used black armor, and turns out they did why? it seems like a weird choice for any region, especially an arid one is it because you guys are so good you don't care about camouflage?
They didn’t make high speed stuff in colors yet, most of their gear was very far ahead of its time and mostly custom/customized by the operators themselves.
Wish you explained why you don’t care to run BUIS. Obviously with a magnifier you cannot. I guess I’m looking for you to sell me on ditching my fixed irons co witness at the 1/3 with the T2 on my Spear LT and throw a magnifier on with a unity center riser with the T2. Check out this great stock for your Spear LT. Alpha Series folding stock by Midwest Industries.
That gun isn’t set up for home defense. The T2 and irons is what I recommend to use. I use the Eotech and the only time I use a magnifier is when sighting in and playing around past 300 off a bench.
Most of these Modern red dots are built really tough. Stay on top of your battery maintenance and you should be good to go. Also in the event that my rds went down it’s much easier to switch to the pistol and continue to fight.
@@HWG-wm8ld for sure. but got my hands on the 365 recently and for a conceal with 10 rds, i didn't realize how easy sig is making it for people to jump ship. impressive.
If you haven't already please consider Jesus as your lord and savior he's the only path without a dead end! We are born with a sin nature. Our sins garner wages to God and those wages equal death. The good news is Jesus paid our debts on the cross! Salvation and repentance are granted by God. You have to ask. Evidence of salvation is living a godly life through the ministry of the Holy Spirit! Evolution isnt gonna turn us into something else before we die, that's impossible! If we evolved from monkeys how are there still monkeys? Please, all of you think about this. We can't save ourselves. Seek the one whom can. Jesus! He said, repent for the kingdom of God is at hand. You're making a decision between blessing and life or curse and death. You're here now, if you're not tomorrow where would you go?....
Good video. I have never had the opportunity to meet or train with you and I will have to admit that I'm not familiar with you unfortunately. That being said, you seem to have a following of individuals that speak highly of you and I respect that. I do have one question. This question is for information purposes and not at all an attempt to "troll" or "flame". I was curious about the knife location and if you may have any concerns about potential secondary injury if it happens to be struck by a round. I have done some spawl tests with various calibers (.223 - .308) and have found in these test samples, the bullet spawl appears to be significantly less threat than has been stated in the last few years, usually only leading to minor or superficial injury. That being said, I wonder if the introduction of a skeletonized metal object might serve as a potential hazard when struck by a round. Any thoughts on that? I appreciate any input you may have.
If you can reach out to Kyle for me I'd appreciate it. Let him know I'm looking for new friends, and I'm inviting him to selection. I'm not looking for the best guy, I'm looking for the right guy.
Much more legit than any federal law enforcement officer that I know. Matter of fact, more legit than any federal civilian employee that I know. Kyle is the man! Delta leads the way.
I'm sure you don't wanna hear it and don't give a shit I'd be careful and cautious with that 320 I want one so damn bad they're sick but I can trust them there's been too many people that's had them go off for no reason I've also seen people drop them just right and they go off I want one really bad it's just like with everyone sig does they knock it outta the park other than one or two things he'll with the p365 the striker was smearing primers and doing this and that the spear lt the barrels bent side to side and here's what bugs me the most about sig they never ever admit that any of their stuff has a problem and never mention it and I think that's a shitty way to be especially knowing how much the guns cost they're probably the most expensive gun brand overall so I'd just be aware that they're known to go off un commanded
I think there is a happy medium between his straight up mission gear set up for his everyday and just having a pistol. I have a pack with my JR carbine in 45 auto with my Ruger gp100 SS 4inch 357 magnum also inside. I run my armor also level 3, tactical gloves, mask and a couple knives with a good med pack. Between all that and my normal SIG m17 carry I feel is a good truck everyday load out.
Outstanding presentation Kyle! Does anyone here happen to know if the EOTECH EFLX Red Dot is way too big for the SIG P365 X-MACRO? Thanks and Blessings!
I'd be curious to know if you have any sort of basic recon equipment in the truck or kit bag. Anything to do some observation from a distance beforehand, time permitting, should a situation arise.
We had an operator show up to our shoot house and help us train. We asked about his kit and he showed what he had and said it was just basic kit. The senior devil dogs couldn’t get it, asking did they have to request permission for certain things and the answer was just its basic kit. It’s what you need and what you can say you need, basically. When you can’t put on whatever you want because it must be uniform on your individual kit is a great way to stop basic thinking. Imagine having everyone in one state having forced to wear clothes exactly the same. Lots of thinking goes out the window.
