Oh Nadine, Your arms are the opposite of weak! 💪 It was no surprise that when you did the 23 And Me test that it turned out that you have the power lifting gene variant. (ACTN3;577R) I am glad that you two have gotten comfortable and skilled with the tools of your craft. I could have used a giant wind sock a couple years ago, but alas, I still need to loop the all the speaking. Well, rare opportunities must be seized!

A7IV or A7SIII should be coming out this upcoming year (fingers crossed*), so if you're looking for the A7III I'd probably pick up a good condition used one so you don't lose as much on the back end.

Nice video. I like that your kit is pretty streamlined. I have a similar setup for my hybrid shooting (a7iii, a6300, rx100M5, same chargers, MOZA AirCross, WANDRD prvke). It might sound minor, but I like the battery holders in the Prvke’s side access flap. All in all, I really nice backpack.

Ya I use those battery holders as well. I love the side flap in general for quickly grabbing a camera, lens, or batteries. Sound like you have a pretty nice kit as well, very similar

What picture profile do you use on the a6400 for vlogs?

We just leave the picture profile turned off, which defaults to the movie profile (PP1 i think)

These videos are always helpful. Thanks for doing an updated one! I also have the Sony a6400 but am looking to upgrade to the a6600...really wish they were released at the same time! Then I would have just bought the a6600. Oh well! Great lenses, too. I also vlog with the 10-18 so it's nice to see I'm not that different from one of the best vloggers out there! :) My husband has the Nikon Z6 and loves it and I have to say, the output is awesome. I haven't been loyal to a brand, but with my new Sony and hopefully with my new upgrade to the a6600, I'll have my perfect camera set up! I just really want the bigger grip and the IBIS.

Ya, we also would have gotten the 6600 if it had come out at the same time as 6400. Like you said, IBIS, the grip, and the bigger battery would be such nice things to have. That being said, we really enjoy our 6400 and the 10-18 is a great little lens.

That's still a great camera! But the battery life was pretty rough on those 2nd gen Sonys, especially in the cold. We have 5 batteries that I used for our a7sII and sometimes in the winter that was even cutting it close.

Good video I do have sony a7mark3 with signs 45mm and canon m6 mark2 and Fujifilm xt30 so 3 different camera 📷 but you have them all sony is it better to have them all sony ?

We like having all the same brand since we can share lenses between all of our cameras and the colours of the footage is more consistent from shot to shot

Do you think the 6400 is better than 6500 for in body stability? I'm on the cusp of picking between the 2

I think the only reason to buy the 6500 over the 6400 is that it has built-in stabilization. It helps a lot when you're using lenses that don't have stabilization. If you're using a stabilized lens like the 10-18mm and vlogging while walking/moving around, the IBIS in the 6500 helps a little bit for stabilization, but it's not a huge difference from our experience. The 6400 has better autofocus, improved colours, a flip-up selfie screen, a better menu design, and it doesn't have the 30 minute recording limit like most other Sony cameras. We chose the 6400 over the 6500 because all of those features were worth more to us than slightly smoother footage while walking around. The best APSC Sony camera to get right now (if you can justify the price) is the 6600. It has all the best parts of both the 6400 and the 6500, PLUS it has the new, bigger Sony batteries which last WAY longer than the old ones (and a few other cool features like eye-AF in video). Hope this helps!

You cannot vlog with a6400 if you still have the camera strap holder. It will make the recorded sound not useable.

Do you guys have the battery warning issue on the A7III? I have a couple of the rav powers and two sony batteries, doesn't matter which I pick... I turn on the camera and it tells me the battery isn't supported

No we haven't had any problems with our ravpower batteries. I think there are older versions of the batteries which don't work with newer Sony firmware updates. I've always just checked the comments before buying to see if other people have confirmed that the batteries work with the newest firmware version. Sorry to hear you've had problems

Ya I think they use the DJI Ronin which is quite a bit bigger than the one we have. It has more features and a higher payload, but comes at the cost of being much bigger and heavier.

Ya, haha, our timing was a bit late... There's tons of reviews on the backpack if you want to see more about it. They're quite nice, but also pretty pricey. That being said mine is over 2 years old, it's been dragged around the world, and I haven't really been gentle with it. Aside from a few scuffs on the back panel, it's still in great shape with no tears, rips, torn stitching, etc.... I'd rather spend more money on a quality backpack that will not only function better, but also last longer than a cheap one.

@@don-dspid2404 The Peak Design Everyday Backpack is also really nice and actually feels like it's a higher quality bag. Both bags have their pros and cons, but ultimately I went with the WANDRD just because it was a bit more versatile for the random stuff we sometimes carry with us.

Nadine has a green Fjallraven backpack that she travelled with up until this past summer. Probably thinking of that one? It's actually a pretty nice bag, but it's just a basic backpack with no camera storage

Sony make nice cameras but I have moved to Olympus, the camera is smaller and lighter and as a result, better for travel IMO especially with airlines becoming more anal about carry on weight limits.

We actually have many camera bags and other gear as well. This is just the stuff we are currently using since it didn't make sense to include all the gear that we used to use.
