What’s in My Hospital Bag 

I know I saw a bazillion of these videos on RU-vid to make a list for me. They came so handy. So if this can help anyone of you, I’d be glad! Of course you can customise this to your needs but most of these are basics and yes I know they are a lot but I’m a bit of an over-packer and I’m pretty sure I’m still going to add 3-5 things more 🙈 Products mentioned in order of being featured: ⏺️ My Brest Friend - breastfeeding pillow (I got this from Singapore. I’m not sure if the brand is available in India, but you can also get any other brand of breastfeeding pillow). ⏺️ Front open gown white Zara Home.The rest are purchased in Indonesia. Alternatively look for maternity kaftans and dresses on Nykaa Fashion - they have loads of cotton ones! ⏺️ Oversized night suit shirt from @uniqlo and pajama from Marks and Spencer. The grey t shirt is my husbands. ⏺️ Sweatshirt from Victoria’s Secret. ⏺️ Maternity panties from Marks and Spencer Nursing bras Mothercare. ⏺️ Socks from H and M. ⏺️ Breast pads, disposable panties, nursing cover, maternity bought online at Amazon. ⏺️ Towel very old. Not sure where from. ⏺️ Heat pad from a local pharmacy. Again, very old. ⏺️ Hakka bought online from Amazon. ⏺️ Nipcare from Indian pharmacy. ⏺️ Aquaphor and coconut oil purchases online from Amazon. ⏺️Baby towel & sponge clothes from Mothercare. ⏺️ Dr Brown Anti colic bottles and pacifier from Mothercare. ⏺️ Baby blankets from my sister as hand me downs. ⏺️ Baby wipes Mothercare. ⏺️ Baby clothes mix of HM, Marks and Spencer and hand me downs from my sister ⏺️ Burp cloths from Marks and Spencer. My dress is from Zara and my nail are gel nails Suitcase is very very old and faded haha.

People here judging a new mom, she has all the necessities and can afford whatever she has shown so ofc she will take those with her for the delivery. Plus, being overprepared is better than being underprepared. Kudos to you mama!! Doing the best what the baby needs!

Tarini you are carrying great stuffs . You are really sensible and mature enough to understand these necessities well in advance...Also the maternity cover for privacy is a valuable thing.... Privacy does matter to a mother and its her choice and that choice should be respected... So proud of you Tarini...You will become a wonderful Mother...All the best 😊

I recommend avoid visitors in hospital early on atleast wait 3 days to receive anyone other than family. Meet n greet baby allowed 🎉only after discharge. Being your first baby u will really need that quality time. Best wishes and good health to u n baby n also your hubby. Get ready to click all the firsts. Keep a bag ready for your hubby for his hospital stay with u. U will also need a nice feeding dress wearing which you n hubby will walk back to your home welcoming the baby (to be recorded) it’s usually like a ceremony. Avoid pacifier. Also take katori spoon.

Why are all these comments so pressed? Its literally non of your business what she brings and not. If it makes her comfortable then what's your problem? People are so judgemental for no reason. You guys are just jealous that you can't afford all these things and no one ever gave you love and attention. Girl, you are doing your best. Ignore these comments. All these things are absolutely necessary for a comfortable stay. You obviously know whats best for you and your baby. There is nothing wrong in making sure everything goes smoothly. Carry a cotton scarf 🧣 for yourself in case you missed it 😊 cotton napkins for baby. 🥣 in case baby needs it for feeding. Bibs are also useful.

Just a suggestion...aquaphor for preventing diaper rash is good but it's very costly..you should try vaseline instead . My dermatologist recommended me to use vaseline which has the same texture as aquaphor even better and it's much cheaper

We get almost everything in hospital....even the gowns to be worn...we just have to take old comfy clothes for baby thats it!!

Why you are carrying so many things are you going to stay 35 days in hospital??

Keep some scarf to avoid headaches and something for drinking hot water like cattle something for spongbath

As a mother of 4 kids, (youngest one is 4 months) I can tell you this is over paking. If you are at any develop country or in Europe this most things you don't need You need just 3 lose shirt,pants, undergarments, socks and 1 pair slippers. Some minimal cosmetic like cream, Vaseline avoid fragrance for babies. One dopatta. And for baby 3 pc body, jumpsuit. Most probably diaper. But no need pacifiers, nipple cream /cover, milk collector things, oil, wet tissue, powder etc. You need this may be when you come back home.
