Thank you so much for this video! It was a great help. The screw on my mannequin's leg loosened and fell, it wasn't damaged, but I couldn't figure out how to put the hook back. So I went on a quest to find out how it is assembled in the first place. I'm glad I discovered this video. Your tip to lock the spring was essential, without it, I would not be able to fix it. I was happy that I just needed to use a paper clip and a hairpin to solve the problem. Anyway, thanks for the video. You saved my mannequin's leg.

Thank you sooooo much! We had a big project with this manequin with my little daughter, and in the night I was sewing clothes for it. And then at a point the head fell of! Shock! It would be not bearable to tell my daugther in the morning that the main actor is brocken and we can't go on! So I searched for a repair method and found your video. Thevtrick with the metal rod to fix the spring was incredibly amazing! It seemed pretty dangerous with this big spring in the middle, but I had to try. I fixed a rope at the door handle, pulled the spring out of the body on it and then inserted a spread knife(the one that is not sharp). And then I could let fall the rope and put the hip back on, and the spread knife fell on the ground. Mission impossible in the middle of the night completed! Mom rocks!! (Mom - it's me!) Thank you sooo much! 🎉

My mannequins arms spring is terrible when you move the arm it almost 100% springs all the way back

Be careful, don't let the hook of the springs cut you by one of your fingers. The spring hook impaled me by one of my fingers and it hurted like shit!

can they move slightly because i left the room and it kinda moved from straight upwards to its leg a bit out and arm o-o'' please respond to this i think it has springs o-o''

When i put the upper arm on, the spring hook does not go up back to the soulder. Mine is armless, it only has 2 shoulders.

My strings lost it's elasticity when i was trying to fix it myself....i found this video after i messed up😭😭😭

I believe that it would have worked if the spring on mine is way too firm, doesn't want to stretch more then 3 mm or something so i think i have to buy a new one or ask if it can be repaired at an art shop

The larger ones have stronger springs, u can't pull them so easily, even with tools (which i broke doing so 😢) they are so strong, very hard to pull

My models whole leg got detached from the circular part
