Hey girl, just got accepted into Georgia state perimeter 🥰 I’m from Cali, can I get a dorm on the big campus & still attend or no? & wich campus do you preferrrrr
Hey girly!! Congratulations! Unfortunately they do have an option of student housing for the perimeter campus but if you talk to financial aid you may be able to see if you can get extra funding on fasfa for housing of your own. I like the Decatur campus because it feels more at home and chilled teachers. I think clarkston is great as well from what I have seen and heard
Well first congratulations! I say you definitely should! Cheaper way to take classes and still be a part of the normal festivities at the main campus so you still have that college experience.
That is a good question. I’ve never tried going to the cafe at the main campus but you have access to everything for the most part. You may have to pay for the cafe food because at the 2-year campus you don’t have a meal plan but they do have a Chick-fil-A on campus and a small food court but I never been except the chick fil a.
Hey I know it just depends but I plan on attending alpharetta ! How much is a single semester? just trying to get a guess on an estimate is it crazy expensive basically what i’m asking
Hi! I always got a refund check so I’m not 100% sure but I believe around 2K could be the semester cost for full time. I took like 4 after while and it may have cost around $1,600.
When you attend Georgia state Perimeter college, do you do two years there to earn your associates, then two years at Georgia state university campus to earn your bachelors?
Yes! It can be dragged out a little longer at the perimeter campus depending on if you take summer classes and your program. You’ll get your associates and attend graduation then apply to transition and do 2-3 years to earn your bachelors.
@Mizzy Games No, all of the 2 year campuses you have to commute to back and forth. It’s a bad idea anyways living on campus with the rules they have during covid unless you’re taking in person classes.
Hey!! Im an international student whos interesed in attending at spring. I really wanna know is it mandatory to send the transcripts directly from my Highschool to the admission office directly ? Couldn’t i just submit them myself? Bc the private highschool i attented no longer exist and i couldn’t contact anyone
I did not write an essay but I encourage you to to really make your application stand out because I don’t think a lot of people do essays unless it’s required.
@@allthingsbyjay8430 it’s not required and I’m really bad at essays but I want them to accept me so idkkk😭do you think they’re still going to accept me?
@@dajahdenise get some help from teachers or even ask your counselor to review it. But it will help you get in compared to people who didn’t write an essay.
Yes, you can stay on campus if you attend to the downtown campus. You cannot stay on campus yet if you haven’t fully transitioned but you can apply for housing for the semester you’ll be officially on main campus.
That’s a great question! I am honestly not sure so I will email my former advisor and ask that question for you. I think you can just transfer downtown if you’d like before getting you associates.
Hi! They can be really slow at times. When I was trying to get in the first time I had to wait a whole semester because admissions put no urgency on finishing my file. Idk if that was just the new town campus or if that’s just the school.
I did not stay on campus. At the time I transitioned over, all classes were online so I saw no point of staying on campus with nothing going on. But I did apply for housing and it’s $300 or $350 to apply and you can do that on the paws student website.
@@allthingsbyjay8430 @AllThingsByJay Ok because i just graduated 3 months ago and i wanted to start off at gsu pc for 2 years then transfer to gsu so i definitely needed to know about the housing as well, i needed this. Thankssss.
@@areuseriousrightmeow4243 no problem! Definitely start at the P.C. campus to take your classes for cheaper! Also, if you applied for housing, you can change your mind and get your money back or they’ll use it towards your tuition bill if you have a balance
It is a community college. Cheaper classes! I always say go their 1st to do your main classes for less than taking them at the main campus and paying more.
It’s definitely always good to pick a location close to you so you don’t have to worry about traffic but I personally liked the Decatur campus the best. I haven’t attended all campuses but I believe the clarkston campus is the biggest campus for perimeter.
