@@jakewiththecake2915 I was walking with him on my way home from school, at the time, quite some years ago I wasn't a bus rider because I switched between getting picked up (car) and walking around a mile home with an acquaintance. I mean. I didn't hang out with "the right crowd" at the time, it was kind of a more low point in my life but he was the person I was closest with and considered "best friend". It helped that he lived only about a block away from me. So while we were walking we had small talk and such, and I bragged about how I stole a few 20s (over $40 in 20 dollar bills) I found in my guardians bathroom and that I had it in my pack incase I wanted anything and such. Looking back I should have noticed his reaction was a bit odd but I didn't think anything of it. About halfway there he says that he knows a shortcut that will basically cut the amount we had to walk in half from this point and that he'll show me it. We were walking behind a private fence that covered the back of an apartment complex and he pulls out a pocket knife while walking a little bit behind me and just - well you know. I fought him, he managed to take my backpack and run a few yards away before I grabbed a rock out of the -- yard I guess you would call it? and threw it at his head. He was okay, it just knocked him down for quite a bit while I took my stuff and left. Moral of the story - if someone named Norman says they have a shortcut to go somewhere don't trust it But yeah, being stabbed initially feels like you got punched, its painful quite a while after. Its sad what greed can do to people but live and learn.

A had a female friend I thought I was close with. She started seeing this man and the next thing I know he was trying to fight me. After we were sperated I found out that she told him I was stalking and harassing her. I tried to confront her and ask why she would lie like that. I got a restraining order and the reputation as a stalker thanks to her.
That's the problem with women. When they feel slited they don't speak up so you can apologize. Instead they keep their feelings inside until they get a chance to backstab you. That's what probably happened. Not that you did anything wrong, but she probably had some issues and probably felt slited far too easily.
Using that logic, that's also the problem with men. Look at the nazi story, instead of having a healthy sense of respectability in competition and fairly trying to gain the girl in question, male entitlement made them petty and inclined them to use violence to get their way. When my friends let me get bullied by a narcisistic destiny 2 streamer in the middle of a raid. I got super upset and just left and got blamed for abandoning the group. I only left because she was saying horrible things about me when we didnt know eachother at all and only 2 of them apologized for what happened but no one spoke out during the event. It hurt, and made me feel like they cared more about clout than anything else.
I got a streamer banned from a game because they were hacking. They told me before the stream. I then reported the streamer on my 10 different accounts. The streamer was a total jerk in the first place so the dude deserved it.

Had a girl I was interested in about a year ago. I’m extremely socially awkward so I was amazed that a girl like her (way out of my league) would want to hangout. I took her on several dates over the course of a couple months, but she said she wasn’t ready for anything serious. I thought that was fine because she’d just had a close family member pass away, very suddenly and unexpectedly, and I know how hard that can be. Well I ended up having a get together with her and a bunch of other friends. Found out a week later that she hit it off with a guy I thought of as a brother, and they started knocking boots the next night. I ended up going into a really bad depression because of that (yay mental health issues) and the rest of my “brothers” ended up abandoning me because they “didn’t want to spend their time around someone who did nothing but feel sorry for himself all day” and bad mouthed me to the rest of our mutual friends. Lost almost my entire friend group in less than a month because of that. yeah… that one hurt like a bitch. Still don’t know how I managed to get out of that without doing myself some serious harm.
It’s a four year long story so I’ll keep it relatively short. In 7th grade I had four best friends and we were all really close. My closet friend I’ll call Lyla was in that group. She turned out to be a gaslighting, manipulative, and toxic “friend.” For the entirety of 8th, 9th, and 10th grade she drove all my old friends away making sure I was hated by the entire student body and school staff along with severely emotionally abusing me until I began having diagnosed PTSD symptoms and severe panic attacks from going to school. It got so bad that I began self harming and that the point where my therapist had to officially exempt me from attending school and Instead have me pick up the weeks homework on Monday and turn it in on Friday. I’ve forgiven her for what she did and honestly wish her the best in life but it still affects me.
Had a friend who pushed a guy friend into me which left me with a broken phone, broken art folder and I had stomach pains from the fall. She laughed and managed to get the guy expelled from our school. Stopped talking to her at the beginning of the next school year when she became friends with our classes mean girls

My best friend and my (now ex) girlfriend started to have a thing for each other and he undermined my relationship with her so that she broke up with me and started dating him. They labeled me as the controlling ex and got some of our mutual friends to agree with them. It felt like a huge betrayal at the time and five years later, I have only spoken to them once and that was when my brother passed away. In the meantime they have gotten married and had two children together.
Been there, done that, got told I was a "Nice guy" several times. 25 years Later I ran into one of the girls from back then and she asked me, "Why didn't she have a nice guy to marry?" (She was my Wife's Sister), I told her the truth, "You liked Bad Boys and ignored us friendly Nice Guys as not pretty or exciting enough; now you have never been married, gained 50 pounds with two illegitimate kids from scummy guys you dated or lived with, and Me and my Wife live in a $300,000 paid off home. Too many of my Wife's friends did this, so maybe the next generation can learn from their mistakes and save themself for the Lawyer's/Doctor's/Banker's Son, after he graduates college. Or an older divorced successful man's trophy wife, as some were real lookers way back then. No one appreciates the love from a young woman as an older man does. Call it whatever you want to, but also call it REALITY.

I’m nice and I am also aware that it may be difficult to find or maybe even keep a relationship. We all see people who look attractive while in relationships and that is just in our nature but acting on it is crossing the line.

#1: So the dad was a psychopath that wanted to essentially lynch an innocent guy "because he was old enough to be capable of being charged". I understand he was outraged over his daughter, but that guy really does need to have some reality knocked into his skull. Or his kneecaps removed. This is also another example of how utterly backward America's legal system can be. The guy still had the stigma and threats despite being completely innocent.
Watching marathons of these reddit vids convinced me I have some underlying issues im avoiding and that maybe a counselor and psychiatrist might not be such a bad thing. Anybody out there who is struggling, its okay to ask for help. You're not weak bc of it. You're stronger for it. Asking for help is the first step to getting better.
Why do people make that mistake? You let someone come stay with you, first thing being discussed is giving them a month from that day to find a job and depending how hard you look. I might extend it.

A "friend" asked if he could stay for a month cause his lease was about to expire and he needed to finish a job to get payed and return home. Since i was going on vacations i was kinda happy to have someone house sitting. 2 or 3 days later my father also needed a place to crash for a few days between leases. It wasn't a problem cause i had 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. So, my "friend" end up bringing his GF to live him with in my house. My father fricked the GF the entire week he was there. My "friend" and his GF had an argument and she threw it in his face that she fricked my father every day for a week. Since he couldnt get revenge on my father, my "friend" got it on me. Sold most of my furniture, PC, PS2, fridge, some small apliances, TVs... and even my freacking chairs -_-' Thats the story on how i returned to my country with empty hands after 2 years working abroad...
Mine was when my BFF when I was 10 she stopped hanging out with me left me out, acted like I had never existed, talked about me behind my back and was really mean to me, bc of rumours she spread no one comforted me when I cried in the corner every break for a month
I had a best friend drop me right after I called her crying because our class vp tried to assault me in my home while my mother was out. She was from a well to do family and so was he, I was not. She didn’t believe me, because she didn’t believe it of HIM. The guy banged my head on the tile floor trying to subdue me, I had knots on my head but she still wouldn’t believe me. I had red hand prints on my arms. I was red in the face and snotty from crying. We had only been friend group acquaintances before he randomly showed up at my house that night alone and it was dark out. He has never came to my house alone before, and I awkwardly let him in, not sure what to do. I offered him a seat on the sofa because I was watching a movie and said he could join. After a few minutes he made a pushy move on me, which I rejected. It escalated quickly from there into a struggle. I managed to fight him off and fling open the door and told him to get out or I would scream and the neighbors would come running. He left. I called her crying, in disbelief and shock that all that had happened. She came over. It was written all over her face that she didn’t believe me. She immediately started flaking off on me after that, and gradually just stayed away from me. I couldn’t believe it after all the years we had been friends that she would do that to me. I never bothered to tell anyone else. If I couldn’t get my own best friend to believe me, what chance did I have with anyone else?
@@TasteTheFlesh17 thank you, I couldn’t believe it either. It was so unreal to me-the whole thing, but especially her reaction. I think the worst part wasn’t even that, but that I believe she told another friend of ours what I said happened and that it was a lie, because that friend backed off of me too. I think it boiled down to the fact that he was popular, smart, attractive, funny, and just very well liked in the school, from a good family with money. I was the girl from the wrong side of the tracks, no father, no money, no prestige in the community. I had nothing but myself to offer anyone at the time because my life was not my own-I was underage. I believe that he thought he could “use” someone like me. I had no protection, I was no one. I was an attractive enough young girl-certainly no beauty but cute enough at the time like many girls are. At my older age I can understand it better. He wanted to sleep with me and then run off afterwards. I guess he thought I would be down for it and didn’t take the rejection well. Probably had never heard the word “no” before. Oh well. At least I found out who my real friends were, I just wish it had been less painfully done. But it just makes me wonder who else out there in the world this happens to. It probably happens a lot more than we know.

i had a best friend for a year from 6th to 7th grade, she was like my only friend and she knew it and we always talked about how we would never stop being friends. in the middle of 7th grade i guess she got caught up in with the popular kids and she just left me. i would go with the group and try to talk but she wouldn’t talk much anymore. She pretty much just became one of them and instantly forgot about me.
An ex best friend of mine who I've known for over 4 years randomly started acting cold towards me. i asked him about it and he blamed it on me and my other friends, saying i haven't talked to him at all and only hanging out with them. I didn't message him too much because he said he wasn't in a good mood so i gave him space. he said some more excuses later on. Found out that he got back with an ex (who once wanted to kill me just for hanging out with him and she threw random tantrums). Now he uses a homophobic slur, very transphobic, hates the cat he wanted for years and says he basically only wanted it for show and says it's a piece of shit, and I have better friends that aren't toxic in the slightest bit. Can't believe i spent all my time on him and gave him all my help just for this
Worst betrayal: I befriended a transferee because she didn't have any friends, she used my secrets to boost herself in high school social circle. Jokes on her, I'm close with all the popular groups cuz I was classmates with them all at some point in the same school, so my reputation wasn't damaged. I cut her off and she is one of the most hated people at school. last time I checked she was still trying to get close to me again and doing everything to get a popular status even years after high school.
Definitely when a "friend" outed my early high school crush to the longtime friend (5+ years) which he didn't take well and shunned me. Nothing has beaten that betrayal since. Oh well, that's people for you.
Well I have a story of how I backstabed my best friend (hear the whole story then judge me) So me and my best friend ( let's call him j) was real close. We spent a lot of our child hood together . There was some problems tho. My family was decent financially and I was really close to my family while j had a tough life. His father was a alcholic/drug user and his mother passed away .his father beats him sometimes. He didn't care about his family and mostly talked to me and come to my house to play. The incident that started this backstabbing event was back in 2019(we went to the same school and were 14). My friend started acting weirdly everytime we met. He was kinda actting unusual . He usually had a smile when we met but he was acting scared and he smelt really bad and also he was coughing a lot. He started visiting my house a bit less but each time he visits my home, some money or food item is missing . I knew it was him and confronted him. He said that he was starving and was too shy to ask for some food. I just let it slide and asked that if he need food or any money then he can just ask. He then slowly stated asking for money regularly( it wasn't a large amount but still he was asking quite frequently) he asked for money more than food. I just grew suspicious of him and started stalking him. He went to a store and I noticed him buying ciggarette from the money. I thought it was for his dad but no. He started smoking it(he walked a few blocks away from the store,it was also 7pm so not a lot of people to witness and it was dark) . I was shocked cuz I didn't know what was happening and why it was happening. I started avoiding him and stopped giving him money which he got mad . I wanted this to stop so I made a plan. I bought a pack of ciggarettes and put it inside his bag. Then I told the principal that he has ciggarettes in his bag and to keep my name anonymous. They principal asked the teacher to check his bag and they found the ciggarettes. J was confused for why they were searching his bag and his mouth dropped when he saw the pack of ciggarettes. The principal then called his father and told him to come to school. His father when he arrived he was filthy, he was smelling of booze and ciggarettes. Long story short. J got counseling and detention. His dad got some trouble for drunk driving and drug abuse. I didn't want him to get in trouble and make his life as short and dissapointing as his father's life. He might have started drug abuse or drink alcohol and further ruin his life. J knew I told the principal and put ciggarettes in his bag. He was pissed and punched me in the face but I didn't say anything.We haven't talked since then but I have been checking j out and he was not using any ciggarettes. I was happy that he could have a higher chance of haveing a better life but it had a hefty cost. Even though we are ex bestfriends I hope he has a better life. A piece of my heart broke when we were not best friends any more but atleast I stood up for him
This backstab came from 2 friends at work. I used to go to one good friend in confidence about my current relationship troubles in an old department. It turns out that after I left that department he spun what I told him and basically spread a flat out lie about me. I didn't find out until years later when I get moved into a new department with another good friend who not only started bringing it up to everyone for a cheap laugh but told me the other friend was the one who started it. I laughed it off at the time but since then I became way more reclusive at work and watched everything I told other coworkers/friends.
When i introduced (this happened twice) a friend to another friend of mine they became closer and kicked me out. Stopped trying to introduce friends to friends after that.
I know that feeling, and yeah, I keep my few friends seperate for the same reason. The best part is when it just comes up in casual conversation that they did stuff together without even inviting you, not even trying to hide it. You don't even become the third wheel, you become their spare tire: They ignore you until they need a replacement for one another :/
Summer before 8th grade I was in a friend group that I had previously had problems with and constantly got into trouble because I wanted to be liked. One girl (well refer to her as D) was particularly nasty. She liked to remind me that in 6th grade nobody liked me because I was a liar etc etc. She proceeded to send nudes to my now ex who at the time used me for my body then tried to claim she was doing everyone a favor after he broke up with me. Skip to a few months later were no longer friends. She proceeded to have one of my now ex friends create fake accounts to spy on me and harass me. This got so bad at one point we pressed charges against her for harassment. I'm in high school now and this still hurts me. I'm not able to trust people like I did before and constantly doubt myself. People do make mistakes but we also learn from them and middle school is no exception. I'm glad that D no longer lives in my state so I don't have to see her at school. Please be kind to others despite mistakes they have made in the past. Not everyone is an inconsiderate asshole who isn't willing to change.
The guy I was going out with betrayed my trust(he did something real bad to me) and all my friends, people that I trusted with my life, decided that I was the liar and that they would not even hear my side of the story. So in 1 week I lost 6 friends, a "boyfriend" and my reputation. It took 4 years for one of them to even consider checking my boyfriend, and when they did they found out he was full of crazy and everything he told us was a lie.
In elementary school, I invited a friend over for a sleepover. We had a lot of fun, we had pizza, it was great. Fast forward two weeks later, she's making fun of me to other girls. Never truly got over it.
in a relationship for 5 years... before they left they said they cheated on me with what i thought was one of my only friends left over 2 years prior when We Were All Looking For A Place To Live Together.... and whats even more fucked up is I still love this person and wanna be with them.... But its just for the better if im not. five years of growing and developing with a person... all the silly and quirky things youed do together, things youve done for eachother. It all feels so meaningless. you look at the mementos and you feel hollow. the memories flood in and you start drowning. its all so painful, like you cant breath. its a pain thats everywhere and nowhere, a poison on ur mind. Theres just an aching in ur chest and a numbness to everything going on around you. All you can do is barely keep your head above water until the next day comes to a close, but even then its hard. you lay awake in bed just wanting to sleep, but your mind is on overdrive overthinking every little thing, stirring up all the memories.

My high school best Friend had a crush on the same girl as I did So he told her I was a perverted bastard and spread it around the school she then hated me and had her dad threaten to kill Me. Me and her ended up dating the year after we left high school for a few years
Took care of a friend who was in an abusive relationship with family. They couldn't get a job but took care of everything up until they moved to another state for a relationship. Supported them up until 2 years ago when I was going through some family drama and felt like things wouldn't be safe for my niece since they lived closer to my sibling but turned around blocked me and made post on Deviantart about me tracing their artwork. I help them to draw better but and they know I wouldn't do that because it was against my morals. We broke bread and had you in my house, I wouldn't do that to a close friend. But they made it our mutual friends but for one convinced them I did that. Still pisses me off to this day
My bestie gave me the best true story. Her (then) bestie had gone over to her (my bestie’s) bf house and f*cked him. My bestie found them together but they didn’t know she was there. So my bestie pulled apart, piece by piece, his precious pride and joy mustang and laid all the pieces nicely out on the lawn. There was no way he’d be able to put it back together. His neighbour invited my bestie in to have a drink and watch the discovery and reaction happen. It was magic and I wished I got to see it.
When I was a kid, I (stupidly) told a girl friend of mine that a had $100 in my jewelry box given to me when she came over to my house and it was folded in a way you wouldn't be able to tell it was a 100 dollar bill. Next day I go to the jewelry box to take it out only to see my $100 is gone and replaced with a folded up $1 bill. I had to take it on the chin because even if I confronted her about it, I had no proof it was her. It was literally my word against hers and she was older than me too so that didn't help. It was a very expensive lesson for my young, naive, and overly trusting self to learn. 😞💸

My nephew was bragging about his cash and was showing it off to his cousins and friends so I stole it from him (I gave it back to him) and told him the next time you advertise your money don't be surprised if someone takes it
When I was in high school this guy that was stringing me along started dating my best friend. I would have been okay with it if they had told me up front but no they they hid it and it almost cost my relationship with her. She got pregnant and he acts like he doesn’t have a kid. (Didn’t even show up for her first birthday) Friend now has two kids and an amazing husband.
Ha haaaaaaaaa, where do I start? It's happened to me a lot, and I'm only 18. I guess my worst one was when an old friend of mine, we'll call her K, just seemed to snap. She went kind, sweet, goofy to lying, cheating, attention-seeking over the course of a day. She tried spreading rumors about me, which thankfully never did much. Personal favorite was when she claimed I was chasing her at the homecoming dance, and that year just happened to be the one year I wasn't going to the homecoming dance. What the real backstab was though was though was when she faked a self-death. This was a bad move on her part because a good chunk of our mutual friends, myself included, were going through a very rough patch in life and have had these kinds of thoughts. You can imagine how well that flew with everyone
My suicidal sister lulled me into a false sense of security that she was okay in her final months, just watching an anime & whatnot, all the while deciding to secretly go off her medication cold turkey. Family & I found her dead on her 21st birthday after overdosing on medication in the house the night prior while I was asleep unaware. I don't think I'll ever know a greater traumatic betrayal finding her that way. Been a little over a year now since that horrific day. I miss her dearly, but at the same time I've never gotten past the anger part of grief. My persisting bitterness doesn't ultimately matter now, she got her death wish.
It’s traumatic, but as a depressed person with some ideations of suicide, I beg you to forgive your sister…. She wasn’t feeling as herself when she ended her suffering… if she was planning it for a while, she probably choose to leave you with good memories of her and that’s why she put a facade and acted like everything was alright . The second hypothesis is that maybe she had a strong depressive crisis and didn’t get through it (bipolar disorders are like that)
@@artemisiana Even if making good memories were her intentions that would assume she failed to realize she would cause one of the worst horrific losses of my life. She was smarter than that. She knew & did it anyway. Not to mention the fact that I'm actively trying to disassociate from my memories with her, both good & bad, because they're that painful now, so she did neither of us a favor anyway. I can't even hear her name without feeling pain. Guesses at her uncertain motivations to manipulate whom she loved before undeservingly executing herself doesn't really matter. I simply can't forgive her because that would excuse the suffering I'm still enduring. May be considered selfish, but if my sister is anything to go by I can admit we at least had that in common. As for your own depression I simply can't offer any help. I can say I'm sorry you're going through that, but that's as meaningless as hearing I'm sorry for your loss to me. You already know my failure in preventing my own loss with someone I loved, & we're strangers. I hope you can get the help you need before you cause the living nightmare I'm in for the ones you love. Never forget you alone have a choice to forge a future or sever ties with having one. Don't delude yourself into thinking you don't.
My roommate at the time got drunk and beat me with a baseball bat and cracked some ribs. She denied ever doing it and made it all my fault. She also kicked me in the face and broke my stuff. Poked me DIRECTLY in my eyeball and cause a hemorrhage of some sort. Then she stranded me in Chicago, I live in Kentucky.
Me and a couple of my friends used to go to private coachings during high school and we all had our own vehicles , there was this one friend who wasn't allowed a vehicle because her family prefered her brother over her and so gave to him instead , I offered her to join me on mine so she wouldn't miss her classes , it was all good until she started demanding that I drive her to the market because she wanted to buy things , that was cool too if it wasn't far away and was on the way to home from the classes. She started to demand many trips here and there to run all her house errands thus increasing the maintenence of the vehicle .So I finally refused her and told her that I wouldn't be able drive her anymore. The next day in school she told everyone that I was being mean to her and was already crying and had caused a scene in front of the whole class while the other girls consoled telling me why I wouldn't just drive her. My college group turned messy for a second when one friend banged another friend’s girlfriend. We stonewalled them both. The two of them went off on their own and broke up within a month because no one wanted to hang with them anymore, and they hated being social pariahs. They broke up, we still hated them, haven’t spoken to them since. The guy moved to another state after graduation and hasn’t bothered making contact. The girl occasionally tries to reach out to us on social media. She gets upset when weddings and babies are happening and she isn’t invited. When she makes comments, she is ignored. Blocking someone takes effort. Let her see how much fun we’re having without her. Let her be on the outside looking in forever. It’s great.
Happened to me pretty recently. I got blocked by an online friend from nearly every social media account we were on. We had some really good times together online and I even bought some art from her. Now that's all over. Her reasons were that she didn't like my political beliefs (I'm an ancap), she thought this fetish I had was annoying (not mentioning that, it's private), she thought I complained a lot (I didn't I mean I'd bring up social issues from time to time but I wouldn't go on about them forever and I'd offer solutions, she thought I was being really dysfunctional (I can be a bit cringy but I try to improve), she thought I had too many flaws to try and fix the world (I have flaws but that doesn't mean I can't make a difference), and she didn't like the fact I didn't quite understand one of her pictures. The kicker is she didn't really have a problem with any of this stuff. I mean yeah we differed on politics but we accepted that. We did have some hiccups on conversations but those were minor. I guess she was holding back some feelings of frustration. The really sad thing is I was actually going to try and fix things, the hiccups, the not getting one of her pictures, any flaws I did have. But then WHAM! I'm blocked and she sent me a PM afterwards explaining why. I wish things were getting fixed.
My friend since kindergarten started acting different at around 3rd grade. He was more self-centered - he always saw it as "oh i have to be better than eeli0tt". It was really annoying but i didnt realise how manipulative he was until 7th grade. The final fall out ended up being him hitting me in the back while I was about to throw a football and, out of response, me hitting him back (More like a shove towards his face, not exactly a fist). He threw a pissy fit and said "DONT PUNCH ME!" before going home and telling his mom what had happened. I admit I had done wrong as well. But he couldn't see what he had done wrong. Hopefully he heals from that mindset. He thinks he's perfect and believes everyone is below him. He thinks he's a god, basically. TL;DR - my friends "perfect" mentality got him fucked up until we seperated due to our past/current conflicts.

@JAMES COBURN the sad thing is, if I did need a friend no one would show up. I don't know how to explain it, but people treat me kind of crappy. Such as people I've never met before, people I've met for the first time, people behind service desks if I'm asking a question or for help, people I've been friends with for years, just a lot of people. I'm friendly, non-judgemental, easy to talk to, funny, and all around pretty positive. So I've always been confused as to why I get treated this way. Example: I went to the courthouse one time and very nicely asked a lady a question with a smile on my face. She was so abruptly rude to me in front of people it almost startled me. I was so embarrassed and confused thinking I did something wrong. I just wanted to get to my car ASAP. And I have endless amounts of examples of people being complete shit to me for 0 reason. It breaks my heart bc I just what to connect with people, but no one's picking up my signal for some reason. I'm also the black sheep of my family. My mom hasn't even attempted to contact me for like 3 years now I think. It's extremely hard to explain how all-encompassing it is. So at this point, after years and years of trying, I'm just done, yano? That's not to say everyone treats me horribly, but it's enough people. Sorry for the novel LOL.

Usually I'm a garbage dump for all people's complaints and problems and eventually I get emotionally exhausted. And when that happens they see no use for me. It's hard to explain honestly. It's not just friends or potential friends it could be some motherfuker behind a service desk at a Walmart two states away from where I live. It's like I have, "please treat me like shit😀" stamped on my forehead.
In highschool my circle of friends abandoned me because I didn't 'mature' like they did. By mature they meant drool over girls in commercials with their tongues out like an anime pervert. I'm actually not even kidding. There was a commercial that came on for either guitar hero or rock band that parodies a famous movie scene where the people slide down a hallway, into a doorway in only socks, boxers & a shirt, but it was mostly women, & every time it came on, they'd make these shakey breathing noises like they just came in their pants. Anyways, When I confronted them, one of them said I seem gay because I didnt react like they did to women, & in hindsight, I'm glad I didn't have people like that in my life past that point, but being friendless in highschool was rough. Edit: I remembered something else. I was playing halo 3 with one of them, & he just sat on a turret & held the trigger while holding his controller to his crotch to feel the vibrations. Edit 2: During our Grade 8 grad party, I lost my wireless xbox 360 headset that I'd brought to the party. I asked the friend who's house the party was at ONCE, if I left it there. He said no. I moved on. The other 'friends' in our group all said he had it, but I never brought it up. Next thing I know he's blasting me all over facebook that I'm accusing him. I never brought it up after the first time, so either people were playing us against eachother, or he had it & gave himself away out of guilt.

Had a similar experience I had a group of friends who all conspired together to steal my wallet with about 70 dollars and 20 Canadian dollars in it and while eating with them they told me they were the ones who stole my wallet but before I was a really nice person who never picks a fight so I forgave them then one time I was eating with them at our usual spot I had 5 dollars on my lap while sitting at the table then a teacher passed by and told us to not sit on the table so I stood up, few seconds later I realize I had 5 dollars on my lap I checked the floor and it wasn’t there it was only me and my friends at that spot so I knew one of them took it but they kept saying they didn’t take it even though It was fucking obvious whats worst is that they kept posting on fb and instagram about being so rich holding 500 dollars in there hands but kept stealing 5 dollars from me.

Chinese friend. We used to tell racist jokes vice versa and had a pretty good time and we laughed a lot together. I asked her multiple times if the jokes where oke for her and she said yes. I asked her multiple times, because I wanted to make sure that she wasn't hurt or anything but I think she was oke with it, because she laughed to. A few weeks later, my teacher came to me FUMING why I was being racist to her. My so called friend went to the teacher and told her that she felt sick about the jokes. Ok. First thing: I asked her MULTIPLE TIMES if it was oke for her. Second: Then why did she laugh????? Third: Wait, so it's ok for HER to make racist jokes towards me, but when I do it, then it's racist. I was super sad about it. I didn't talk to her much after that happened. I know, I know. There are people who like offensive jokes and there are people who don't, but why lie about it? That's just dumb. If I ask you if YOU LIKE something or NOT then why lie??? She seemed like a honest mature person so that took me offguard.
My then "friends" are girls. I was in a relationship with my gf(now ex) at that time. There were times that they would tell me some unlikeable things that my gf has said and/or done, and it affected me because our relationship was not doing alright already. Me and my gf then broke up. They made a chat group that is named to make fun of my now ex. Some weeks later, one of my friends were feeling down so I offered to come over (I am from a different city, so it took long for me to come to them) to them, since I know that most of our friends from our friend group are hanging out with them. So I come over, we hang out. We had fun, then my ex come crying to them (she's also from a different city), they set us up to meet with each other. I had another girl that I was dating at that time because my ex and I had broken up some time before that. They made me look like the bad person and stuck up with my ex even though they were badmouthing her behind her back before. Then made me choose between them (my "friends") and the girl that I was dating. I'm with the girl for more than a year now. I refuse to be manipulated by them any longer. Edit: I did not break up with my then gf for the new girl nor because of my then friends' badmouthing. I had a lot issues with my ex before these events. My ex herself admitted that she flirts with other people when things get "shaky" in our relationship. I also caught her cheating before. She also often breaks up with me for no clear reason, and I had to beg for her to stay. It drained me so much that my friends at home and my family noticed it in my appearance.
When I was in my early teens, one of my best friends at the time (a blossoming horndog, but usually nothing to worry about) had a crush on the girl I was dating.. proceeded to tell her a lie behind my back that I was cheating on her so that he could have a shot with her, she didn't bother to talk to me about it, dumped me, and immediately went out with him. I found out shortly after I went to hang out with him the next day, we stopped being friends not long after I won a tussle he and I had, I didn't appreciate how he he insulted his mother (a really kind woman) in front of me while we were trying to play gamecube, or how he stole my girl at the time.. So I boiled over the edge and set him straight, he left the house and she just stood there staring into the room with disbelief as I said "He shouldn't talk to you that way."
Confessed to a crime I haven't committed, got a few years on probation and basically effd up some career options for good just so the dude isn't stripped of the custody of his few months old daughter (he was going through a divorce) just to watch him botch the attempt to behave like a normal person and lose custody for beating up his ex and getting arrested while being coked out and drunk af on a mashup of a bender and a rampage.
when I went to middle school, I was going to a school for unraiseable children. When I was 6, I was considered too stupid for normal school, so I was sent in this hellhole with all the kids being too troublesome for normal school. For these kids, going to a normal school later was considered a big success. When the teachers realized when I was in 5th grade that I didn't belong in this school. It took them so long to realize that because my first teacher that I had for 3 years HATED me for some reason, and bullied me. When I was already set to be transferred into the better school, my only friend started bullying me all of a sudden. I said that: "Yeah, we won't have to walk an hour to the swimming pool for swimming lessons because the school has a pool." , and the school looked friendly af, whereas my middle school looked like a literal prison. So, out of jealousy, the only girl who was even talking to me, suddenly started bullying me, and making me feel miserable. I'm glad I was helped out of that shithole back then. Tho, it should have happened sooner. The reason I was considered too dumb for normal school was that I just didn't feel like answering the questions on a papersheet during the test about which school I should attend.

Second of all: learning disabilities were completely undiscovered back then, and therefore people with learning disabilities had a hard time back then. Oh, and the psychiatrist was shit.
Tip for anyone dealing with school bullies. Never go to a teacher since they never fecking help. Never sit there and let them continue. Stand your ground and get physical if you have too. You'll at worst get 3-5 days at home whilst the bully gets a mental reminder everytime they look at you 🤷♂️ Worked for me 👍

Mine was when they used me tryed to control me and when i showed that i wont be controlled easily they tossed me for the wolves ruined my life and any of my chances finding love and guess what im feeling it now and one thing i learned from it is stay with your own kind im a metal head that tryed to hang out with everyone and like you hear in movies some cheerleaders ruined me so lesson learned can say alot about them trying to get me to be with them in privet but im trying to move on just needed to vent a bit since they keep trying crap
21:36 hits different, I quit my job because I had a better one lined up, then in the same week I found out I was getting evicted because a roommate wasn’t paying rent, then I found out my best friend (who was kinda the leader of the house) was stealing my rent money I was giving him and not paying my part of the rent so 50% of rent wasn’t getting paid for like 6+ months. Then my girlfriend broke up with me all of that happened at the same time. It’s been about a year now and I’m convinced I’ll never be the same, I used to be smooth very outgoing and very funny. These days I have like 2 friends, idek how to talk to girls anymore I’m like 0/45 since the start of 2021 summer, I stay to myself and I don’t trust anybody anymore. I’m 100% I’ll never be the same person I used to be again. EDIT: oh yeah and the guy who was getting me into the new job ghosted me so I never ended up getting that job
Biggest backstabbing former friend? He was my friend all throughout high school, and some years after that. He wanted a girlfriend, but I wasn't interested. He starts dismissing me as the "manipative and dramatic b*tch" that he nearly hit my older sister's car and joked about it. I verbally slammed him for that as a serious threat, and told him directly that my older sister takes no sh*t and will bleed him dry for the repairs her car would have gone through for his reckless driving. He was a great driver, too, but after that day, I knew he stopped caring for me, despite all we went through. Its also a great reminder for "just needed a friend" before we parted ways, and I ignored him after an unrelated issue that also further confirmed that he doesn't care for me.
TL;DR: Friend starts dating toxic internet drama queen and fucks up my home life, mental state, and relationship with friend after I tell them I don't wanna live with them. Ends up living with me anyway because my mom invited her in. Sends me spiraling deeper and deeper into a dark place that I am still recovering from due to gaslighting, mental manipulation, and playing on my insecurities. A friend since highschool fell in love with some girl from the internet who moved across the country to be with him without a solid plan. I was living at home getting therapy, working a dead end job, and trying to move on with my life after a sequence of bad things kept happening that caused me to go down some bad roads. They wanted to move in with me, I said no, because I knew that I didn't want room mates. But I did give friend's GF a bunch of resources that I was using to improve my life (because she claimed she was going through the same stuff I was, and I felt bad because nobody should go through that). My mom ends up inviting friend's GF to stay with us anyway...and knowing I did not want to live with them; takes the offer anyway. Fine. But then she starts causing drama, gaslighting my parents and friend, manipulating them emotionally, and lying about and TO me to get sympathy. She didn't like me much because she wanted people to just pity her and I was offering tangible things to help her fix her life. I didn't even like her to begin with because she made mountains out of molehills, and rather than work to fix her problems, she decided to just cause drama and pretend like her mental problems were acting up (Note: I have anxiety, depression, and PTSD...so I am very well aware of how these things work). I eventually try to tell my friend everything that was going on but he didn't want to hear it, and ended up taking her side. When I brought up another set of grievances they both came to my house, demanding explanations...and at that point they made it very clear that I was the bad guy...and she was making this big ass scene about leaving where I basically just let her pack her shit because I was just done. Friend tries to flounder and take MY side...but the damage is now done so I tell him to go and help his hoe pack her things because I was too pissed to look at him. After she left I found out she had told my parents things I had said to her in confidence, sprinkled in with lies she told them to make me look bad, added to this; she left the room we let her stay in complete disarray, plates everywhere, mouldy food on the floor...Ruined my relationship with my parents even though I have been trying to repair it. Her actions sent me spiraling so much that I ended up with a bad heart condition due to the poor choices I made just to cope, I relapsed and turned to alcohol even though I was a little over a year clean, and I lost one of my best friends since highschool because some ho was fricking his furry brains out. To make things worse, I called my friend to ask him what he was thinking, and he pretty much threw my parents' hospitality back in our faces, told me they were leeching off of her, and that we were the bad guys because she's just such a poor little victim. I told him to just go live his best life, but to never talk to me again. After leaving, none of our friends from our friend group have made any attempt to contact me, and it left me alone with my own thoughts after half a year. Fun fact: one of my greatest fears is abandonment, to the point where I physically and mentally cannot handle it. Imagine being stuck in a void with your own thoughts after all your friends seemingly abandon you after a long spell of drama, anger, and hatefulness. I am still recovering from this, and even though I am more stable now, the damage she left still makes things awkward between me and my parents, and has made me wary of ever trusting someone like that ever again. No good deed goes unpunished eh?

My ex lied to our entire group of friends about me abusing her online. Our relationship lasted 2 years and my friends of 6 years immediately took her side, despite knowing I'd never consider abusing anyone. I would've hurt myself before doing that. That was 2 years ago, and it still hurts to this day.
A former friend got between me and a girl I was trying to pursue on tinder. He found her on Facebook and began talking to her. The relationship was full of lies and she was beginning to see him for who he truly was. An incel. Hell he didn't even want to have sex with her and never made an effort to go on dates with her. I believe he went for her just to teach me a lesson on how to be an Alpha male. Which I still think is bullshit because of the way he treats people. He almost made her cry one day and I had enough watching from the sidelines. I told her everything, she believed me, she knew something was wrong with him from the from the very beginning but gave him the benefit of the doubt. I confronted him, raged scream at him but he blew me off and thinking I was being a prick myself. His girlfriend ended things with him. He blocked her and me. As if I cared. I will just be another person on a list on 100s of people he blocked for no good reason. Jokes on him now. His girlfriend is now my girlfriend and he is alone with no friends and no job. Burn enough bridges you will get stuck on that plateau with no way off.
I'm just glad i've been homeschooled since 7th grade and have willingly let my social skills deteriorate. I'm the kind of person that everyone is suspicious of (face contour and stuff), the only people I talk to outside my immediate family are some kids (5 - 12 years olds) that show up to my house sometimes when i'm playing basketball.

Not me, but two of my ex-girlfriends had friends that back-stabbed them pretty badly. On two separate occasions, I discovered that my girlfriend at the time was cheating on me. In both cases, I INSTANTLY went out and railed their best friend. Despite the fact that they caused it, I can't help but feel each of my exes might have felt very betrayed by their supposed "friends."

I discovered that my girlfriend at the time was cheating on me (NOT from their friends). 2.) I broke up with the girls. 3.) I instantly went out and railed their best friends (one was that very night, the other took maybe 2-3 days). 4.) Each ex got mad at their "best friend" for "betraying" them by sleeping with me.
10 yrs ago I had a gay best friend. We worked together, went to our religion congregation together, did basically everything together, for 4+ yrs. When our boss mentioned it was time for me to be promoted, he immediately stopped talking to me, turned on me and spread rumors that I was having an affair with a married guy who I had only talked to maybe three times in my life. I didn't get promoted and left the job. Didn't see him for these 10 yrs. This year, I was called for a job and there he was. He pretended it was all water under the bridge, then proceeded to talk to me a be super friendly. Not long after, I started having trouble after trouble at work, the boss started hating me for no apparent reason, and I was always miserable. For the record, again, I had way more chances of being promoted earlier than him because of my qualifications. Thank God something else came up, so I left the job on my own account before things turned ugly, and now I'm doing way better. Two days after I left, he blocked me on all social media and messenger. Fuck him.
Just lost a huge friends group over some bullshit and backstabbing. Walked away after they believed some absolute crap about me and my fiance. Heard recently most of them are now divorced or in some serious trouble financially. Thing is I didn't feel good about that I was done with them but didn't want to see them struggle. It was strange I thought I'd feel good about that all the drama and bullshit caused it all to implode and walking away when I did was the right choice. I feel that a little but mostly I just hope they are all ok.. they may have ended up being not the greatest friends but we had decades of memories and good times and they were not always that way. So was a bit conflicted when I heard about their hard times... Also making new friends when you are an adult is a lot harder then I expected. Either people are in their little crews, loners as well or think you are weird because you don't have any friends. It's definitely difficult

I wouldn’t say that this person was my friend as we weren’t close but I did try to be friends with them. We would always be on voice call with their ex girlfriend while playing games but they would always not want to talk to me whenever I am around, it turns out that they are just like that to everyone in the group that we are in but I did try my best to be friends with them, guess to say that was a horrible mistake I made. I found out that not only were they really jealous of me being around their ex girlfriend but also talked shit behind me, they even messaged me about them not liking the things that I said to their ex girlfriend ( if you don’t know what I said, I would playfully joke about her having a crush on fictional men ). I did feel uneasy being around them now that I found out about them but I still tried to be on good terms with them. I think for about 1 or 2 months has passed and I wasn’t feeling very well, I was hurt from my parents that I had to leave the group just to give myself some space. I come back later and I had a really bad feeling in my gut, my gut was telling me to scroll up and so I did. My heart had dropped when I saw what that person has said about me, while people in the group chat admitted that I was annoying and were only friends with me because the ex girlfriend was friends with me, the person told everyone that I was into incest and a predator just to make me look bad and make everyone disgusted by me. I tried to tell them that it was all a lie but it seems as though they didn’t believe me, even the person was playing as a victim by saying “I heard you say this and that” when I never said anything. The ex girlfriend didn’t even try to say anything, they were just on their side when they know for the fact that the person doesn’t like me. I got kicked out of the group and cried, this has to be the worst pain I had ever experienced since my breakup. I not only had depression but PTSD, I would hear the words that the person has said about me. I’m doing fine now but am thinking about seeking therapy. I am too scared to make friends again from that experience and to trust people, I also found out that two or three days after I got kicked out did the person and the ex started dating again. It honestly feels like the person wanted me out of the picture and to do that was to tell awful lies about me to make everyone lose respect for me. I guess my last words would say I’d be careful who you trust and don’t try to force yourself to be friends with the person that you know doesn’t like you
Not the worst one, but I was with my friends (2 of them are sisters), I was friends with those sisters for nearly three years, another girl for 2 years and another girl that was recently in the friend group, the sisters didn't have the best household and the other girl was kinda wealthy, let's call the 2 sisters "Rina" and "Teri" and the other girl "Sav" and the newest of the group "Stella" so you don't get confused, so one day I was bored and started to imitate an anime character, keep in mind that my friends knew who she was, I even said that I was imitating that character because the fictional character herself had a toxic behaviour so no one would get accidentally offended, anyways, one day "Teri" comes to me and says that "Rina" came home crying and that I had told her very hurtful things and other lies, she then called me a snake and body shamed me, also told other lies, then one other day "Rina" started fake crying saying that I hated her and other bullshit , eventually when I tried to make up with them "Stella" sabotaged me, turns out she was jealous and the sisters didn't get attention at home so they tried to get it that way, stupid I know
