Raglan refers to the style of sleeve, where it doesn't have a shoulder seam but goes all the way to the collar. my favorite sleeve ever is a raglan mixed with a bishop sleeve!
Raglan tees are named after FitzRoy James Henry Somerset, the 1st Baron Raglan, who was a British Army officer. The design of the raglan sleeve, which extends in one piece fully to the collar, leaving a diagonal seam from the underarm to the collarbone, was developed to allow greater range of motion. This design was reportedly created for Lord Raglan after he lost his arm in the Battle of Waterloo. The sleeve style became popular due to its practical and comfortable fit, especially in athletic wear, and the name "raglan" stuck.
Speaking of baseball tee and tie dye. When I was on a softball team as a kid (late 90s), my team was sponsored by my dad's work. One of the products they distributed was the colorful fruit drink, Mystic, so my team was called the Mystics. My coach gave us all rainbow tie dyed uniforms to match the name. Even the socks were rainbow tie dyed. That was a good core memory for me :)
My guess would be baseball tees were made for the sport when it was becoming a thing people did with more structure. Then bc it was mainly associated with baseball they called it a baseball tee. Idrk but I do know I like your designs. I've seen a few shorts and they're so fun. I like how much of the shirt is covered in color. I like intentional white space in tie dyes but so many very blank ones feel unintentional and are jsut not as rad imo
