Don't think it's enough for a whole video but will you cover the TOTK maze themes? Sky maze one was one of the coolest music encounters in the whole game imo. The sheer horror after hearing these piano notes out of sudden- unforgettable.

Nice! I knew most of them... I love the 3D games the most, haven’t played the older ones much. Still need to play Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker though :PP Would definitely recommend Skyward Sword though!

I also fell out of Zelda for a few years because of Skyward Sword, so I know that ost more from loz music compilations and less from playing the game 😅 Someday. Someday I'll get around to playing it (for switch). But I'd rather play through all the other Zelda titles first lol

I'm giving myself credit for saying clock town for the majora's mask title theme. the only one that was dicey for me was the overworld battle theme from botw because that and the one from totk sound very similar to me, but I was still reasonably confidant.

9/10 too and I got all the titles right except the Zelda 2 one I've never played this one even if I know the main theme of it I didn't know the title screen

So. I've played every major Zelda up to skyward and link between worlds. As much as I loved twilight it's not fresh in my memory. Musically it takes a backseat to others. Skyward being the least memorable for me. Not because it wasn't good but because I only played it once and my mom couldn't play it much because of the wii controls. It's probably going to be the hardest one for me to replay because of its system. 1. I guessed LoZ overworld. 2. I guessed the theme of when link awakes in link's awakening. I think it's called Link is Awake. I don't know how much different that is than the opening. 3. Clock town. It did make me think of the title version with it's more somber tone. 4. I remember skyward sword the least and only knew it was skyward because you said skyward sword. I assumed then it must be skyloft's theme. Amazing. 5. I can't possibly know this one. I refuse to even watch much botw content as I want to play it. Can I even consider this a loss? 6. OoT opening. 7. Windwaker Sailing Theme. I guessed it was called sailing theme because when you're not actually sailing the song is completely subdued. I always loved windwaker's epic music. 8. I missed this one. It's the LoZ main theme in a different way. I don't remember twilight enough. Shame. 9. Zelda II opening. 10. I'm ashamed. I immediately assumed tears of the kingdom because I didn't quite recognize it and no other totk music has been displayed yet. However it sounded familiar... Then you said midna and I went "oh damn...." So. I got 7 out of 10 with the botw 1 being impossible for me to know. So more like 7 out of 9. It would be 9 out of 9 if this video came out a bit later... Because I'm marathoning the LoZ series and I'm still in the oracle games. Just a few more and I reach twilight.

Just did this guessing game with my sister. She got 8/10, lost 0.5 points for 2 of them not knowing the theme's name but very good overall. And then I got 10/10 cuz I'm just a 🤓lol.

The OST from Breath of the Wild has Battle (Field) and Battle (Shrine). They’re actually musically pretty different.

I got all ten 😊. My sister and I used to play a guessing game with Zelda songs. We do it less often, so I'm out of practice, but for the most part, I think I've got the entire soundtracks to Oot, Mm, Ww, Tp, Ss, and BotW practically downloaded into my brain. I'm learning Totk soundtrack right now, and I've got a good chunk of those memorized already. So fun

Awesome vid as always :) btw, you HAVE to play Skyward Sword! It’s the first Zelda game with real orchestra recordings for the soundtrack! It’s amazing!! And with the HD version on Switch, you have no excuse not to play it. To my ears, SS soundtrack is the beginning of truly modern Zelda music style. The way it takes little quotes, hints, and feelings from Koji Kondo’s classic themes while building very distinct theme of its own is so wonderful. And its leads right into the way BOTW used Kondo’s themes, as well.

(My score 7/10) The themes that aren't MM, OoT, BoTW, or ToTK I just barely got, a few I didn't get as I've not played them such as the TP themes mostly are the ones I missed, and one WW theme. Really need to get around to those at some point in my life.

Ngl I thought everything was going so well for me but the Zelda II title theme stumped me I’m so behind with commenting on your videos, so I’ll just say some stuff here I liked that in your previous video with the TOTK Easter eggs you included the one where the melody of the reverse voices from the cold opening of the game are found in the battle theme! 7:50 That reminds me. The guys over at Nintendo EAD were originally going to use the song Bolero for the title theme of the original game for the NES. But since the release window at the time was just around the corner, and that the Nintendo EAD team wanted to get development done, Koji Kondo ended up writing the song that we know as both Link's Theme and the main theme for The Legend of Zelda. And I think he might have been inspired by Bolero to some extent when writing it. And your remark makes me wonder if Howard Shore, the composer for Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings films, was similarly inspired by Bolero.

I commented before realizing how many there were going to be 😅 My guess for the first one was LTTP overworld theme. I never played the original NES game so maybe that's why I'm confused? I missed guessing the second one before you said it. Third is...Clock town? majora's mask? I never played that either. I feel like it's maybe in another game too. Four I've definitely heard in a game I played, haha. Seems like it's a town theme though so I guess I gotta speculate...Skyloft? But idk. Yes, play skyward sword. I liked it overall. Don't like the controls though. I need to get it for the switch and hopefully it will have normal game controls.... I guess I need to check first.... 😅 Five seems like BOTW battle theme. One of the melancholy ones anyway. Nine I should know. It's one of the older games for sure, maybe even the first one? My instinctive guess for it was already the first track that I guessed wrong though so now I'm, er, second guessing myself. Ten I really don't know, but parts of it remind me of Midna's theme, so I'm guessing it must be from Twilight Princess. .... I thought I had that wrong 😂😂

8/10 Zelda 2 and the Link’s Awakening one. Zelda 2 is just too hard and I never really played the handheld Zeldas for gameboy and ds/3ds.

I picked up a keyboard about two weeks ago, I've been following you and a few other music channels and I've really dug a lot of your music theory videos! Do you have a place you would recommend to learn the basics? I already play accordion(poorly) and I know how to read music from years of choir, but piano is a new beast and I'd like to learn simple versions of some of our favorite Zelda songs.

I just found the coolest reference in tears of the kingdom--listen to the memory "Zelda and Sonia" and at one point, I assume when they're talking about the time power, it plays the notes of Song of Time on piano. Not hard to hear and it's so cool Also--the line from day 2 is also in day 1, just less audible... I'm pretty sure.

10/10! but I replayed them all this past year so they are fresh in my memory. It's hard to pick a favorite, but my latest favorite is the Construct Factory themes from TotK, especially the final theme. Or the short (but sweet) serenade to the great fairy when you have all 4 band members.

I loved this format! I got 9 of 10, to be honest, didn't guess that Link's Awakening was the title theme. I can feel you with Majora's Mask Title Theme! It's easier to get if you hear the ominous transition to the "Skull Kid - Moon" part, but apart from that, it's the same leitmotif as the Clock Town themes. Also, I tried to guess the last chord when you say "no spoilers" but I will wait for the next episode haha (sound a little bit like a part from Kakariko in BotW, but I don't think it is based on the following notes).

So basically just watching someone else’s video and not even trying to change the topic just literally watching their video and claiming it as your content. I had high hopes for this channel but man……
