Man I remember Bullet being thrashed in the tier lists ever since the first release of CF years ago, but damn just one wrong move against a Bullet main that has resources ready you get pretty much ToD'd most if not all the time

Ok but the Ragna was using the bright red and yellow McDonnalds ass color palette so I don't feel sorry for him

I saw the heat level up and that missed dp and a piece of my soul got bodied with that first hit

For anyone curious this happened for multiple reasons. Mainly the fact ragna has low health naturally on account of his life drain and he wasn't at full starting off. Not only did he whiff a dp but the bullet retaliated with a fatal counter (starts with unscaled damage). But bullet is a character known for having high burst damage. So put that all together you see a character with low health getting punished in the most damaging way by one of the hardest hitting characters. Aka don't throw out a DP if you have no way to make it safe.

as a ragna main, my advice to fighting built is to NOT stupidly dp her if not ever just because her grab will beat it; let alone the damage is sooooo huge

Lessons from bbcp (maybe not applicable here). Dp weak version with 50% meter (49~48 if you don't mind additional risk) , if does not damage, cancel into drive attack and you should get some by surprise. Don't get greedy, focus on good defense and meter comes faster, so you don't have to over commit. Bullet did not get her meter from doing nothing.
