I first used coke in the early 90s for a couple years then it got tough to get around 93-94 like very hard so I quit . The second sting was 2009 -2010. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the stuff was never as good as when I got it in the early 90s. I'm not sure if it was in my head or what but even the very best stuff smelled like gas or paint thinner I assume it was made differently by then. The main reason I stopped was because my heart rhythm was off and it scared the crap out of me. Finished. Done.

I have a new job to start tomorrow so I'm just sitting here slowly drinking at 11 am today so i can keep the withdrawals off and hopefully get to bed early and eat good today and start my sobriety with a new job i hope and pray i can do it! Alcohol and cigarettes addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my wife which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

I wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.
@DarlingtonFrancis
@DarlingtonFrancis 8 дней назад
From my experience it really works excellently! It doesnt even need to be a full hit. With potent shrooms 2-3 small ones will still make a clear difference. It will be a few hour cosy rumbling moment around rest time, but afterwards its just calm and you feel amazing and gain your freedom. Psilocybin is different dudes, its the only "treatment" I would recommend to someone who genuinely wants to get better. There is no addiction, withdrawal, or negative side effects. It's just pure healing., far more effective than any anti-depressant. You can thank me later
@JesseRobson-dk5cy
@JesseRobson-dk5cy 8 дней назад
I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.

Hey Eric. I've watched your channel for a while now and this is actually my first time commenting. Honestly man, I'm still currently struggling with both alcohol and cocaine addiction and from watching your videos I did exactly what you and everyone else says, admit to yourself that you're an addict, and let everyone know you need help. Unfortunately in my case when I started to open up to my friends, family, anyone, it feels like I got the opposite reaction that I was looking for. I've only been judged and labeled as a junkie, my peers began to look at me differently, almost to a negative effect. I want to be like you man and fight through it. I'm tired of the things I've lost and the relationships I've destroyed. It's almost like I'm just watching everything crumble around me and sometimes it feels like there is no way out. I don't know, I just felt like it was finally time to just put this stuff out there. Either way, I love your content and the impact you make on peoples lives is huge, I appreciate and respect you a lot man, thank you.

Most close to you already know it's an issue. That's usually the case anyway. But cleaning up only works if you're truly doing it for yourself. I mean family and work and friends can motivate you as far as wanting them to know you're getting better and healthy but it's gotta come from within. For me the real help was professionals trained to help me because there was no way in hell I could stop. Alcohol was my deal with some blow and zany but I couldn't stop drinking or go into convulsions and likely die. So detox did it for me and it was the easiest part of recovery. A week off the battlefield getting my central nervous system regulated back to a point where I didn't need a drink to survive. But then real work on recovery happens out in the real world with all those challenges. Sobriety ain't no joke. But broh if I did it I promise anyone can. Trust that.

I was a pill and oxy addict working for a huge investment firm as an investment adviser (series 7/66) and doing a 40 in the morning and then another 40 at lunch… sometimes taking 7-10 7.5 Lortabs a day. Methadone too. All the while calling clients and cold calling prospects.

@@batmasterson7506😮 Did you end up going to rehab? Have help (maintenance medication) to get you through that? Or... did you do this cold turkey with at least 7 days off work?

Yer bro, im with you - after 30 years of messing my life up I've finally realised how bad stimulants are for my mind. Weed and shrooms only now. I have used once in 12 months, biggest break I've had in years....

Im confused as he said he did alcohol and cocaine to cope with his wife's suicide but then he talks about his wife filming him crawling around naked and how he would have to ask her how his night had been. Huh?

I think he had times of going black out drunk/high while his wife was still alive. He has said they both struggled with addiction and were seperated at times.

This may seem crazy and outrageous, but I have known very many people throughout my life who have been this deep into drugs and alcohol and most of them didn't make it out of their prime years alive. The very few who did still struggle to this day trying to stay sober, but I commend anyone and everyone who get up everyday and fight the good fight to stay sober and alive. Unfortunately Life doesn't get easier, but all Life is worth fighting for because time alive is far too short to throw away on drug and alcohol addictions.
