@@AbbeysKitchen yes please~ could i also request low sugar breakfast ideas - currently struggling with sudden acne breakouts and i think one of the causes have been my sugary breakfasts :( much love abbey!
Abbey because of you I was able to take myself out of a toxic eating cycle so I would just like to say thank you because no I can enjoy food and see it as fuel not calories!! Thank you for everything you do Abbey 😁
Abbey you have helped me on my food journey as well, I had a bad relationship with food, you have taught me to listen to my body, which has been the best advice for me and eating! Thank you Abbey!!!
Jesus came to save us. He was crucified, buried and then rose again on the third day. Now when we believe in Him we have eternal life and forgiveness of sins. Repent (turn away from your sins) God loves you!
You should probably not be eating Cheerios because all Cheerios have a toxic chemical. The EWG found that levels of glyphosate in Cheerios were 729 ppb and in Honey Nut Cheerios Medley Crunch the levels reached 833 ppb. The EWG considers 160 ppb to be the highest level safe for children's food.
You should do other store bought things that are healthy like cheerios, and describe why they are healthy and how to make them healthier with the things we can add with them.
It’s so wonderful to hear how in love you are with these breakfasts. It’s truly the difference between your relationship with food compared to the influencers you’ve talked about on this channel. I know you’ve said that you yourself didn’t always have a healthy relationship with food so it means so much to see this video. 🥰🥰🥰
I just eat fruits on the side, ideally before the carbs so I have space for as much fruit as I want then the carbs and protein fill me the rest of the way up
Thank you for not restricting the peanut butter ! I have been trying my best at recovery and I admire you so much and learn so much to improve my eating from you! Thankyou abbey❤
I've watched that video so often already to remind myself and my brain that this is exactly what an intuitive approach to food and food relationship looks like. I'm struggling with -TW* an ED for 7 years now and I'm so sick of it. Your channel is the only food related content I can watch without constantly being triggered. Thank you so much for your work and the impact you have on people!♥️
@@bridgetoterabithia6989 One foot in front of the other. You got this. The community on Abbey's channel is, on the whole, very supportive. We're here if you just want to talk :)
Wow these meals are so creative and yummy and it’s what most people have on hand in their fridge! The Sunday sheet pancakes is literally genius and is going to save me so much time since I have a 2 year old and infant! Thank you 🙏
Abbey, I think this is my favorite video of yours I have ever watched! I loved how practical it was, but more than that, I loved how your natural personality shined through. Thank you so much for all of your videos.
Fun tip: I learned from watching a 3rd generation avocado farm owner. If you want whole avocado slices instead of scooping it out cut it into fourths. Then the skin will peel off like a banana.
ive eaten cheerios since I was a child and I honestly I feel like I will never get sick of them!!! Part of it is the nostalgia of eating a bowl of cereal before heading to the school bus HAHAH
I was in a group with a vegan girl for our geology camping trip and the three of us who weren’t vegan decided to go vegan for the week and I ate blueberry Cheerios with soy milk almost every day bc I didn’t want to wait for the water to boil for instant oatmeal
I suffered from an eating disorder for 12 yrs. I just found ur channel and it is life changing. this vlog was wondering, refreshing and simply divine! please keep being u, sharing and enlightening us with ur endless knowledge. 😊💚🙏
Thank you so much for this! I love how the ingredients and spices are simple, but full of flavour and very healthy. Also the simple setup, usually these videos end up demotivating me, but I just got back from the shop with a bag full of what you've recommended here!
OMG this is absolutely the best breakfast ideas compilation. So many varieties and so easy to make. Thanks Abbey, this is gold. Pls do make more contents like this. I am gonna prep the ingredients and start making these meals!!!! Love xx.
@@angelaobscura2146 As far as I'm aware, in the UK you can't get the "original" Cheerios that we have here in Canada, which only use oat grain and aren't sweetened (they come in a pretty plain bright yellow box). When I lived in the UK, you could only get Honey Nut Cheerios or Multigrain, both of which are frosted and have a fair bit of sugar, compared to the original at about 1g per serving. So sadly, the other flavours score lower when it comes to health. :( I used to put a box of the originals in my suitcase whenever I went back to the UK from a visit home!
I get puffed Kamut, it tastes the same and it's less calories for the same amount. If I remember it's 50 cal per cup and it has a lot of good whole grains!
Hi Abbey. The tortilla will roll better if you steam it beforehand. One thing my bf’s Latina mother does for single tortillas is she saves a small plastic bag from the grocery store (the ones in the produce aisle), drop a teeny teeny tiny drop of water (make sure bag is clean of course), insert tortilla, put bag in the microwave for 10-20 seconds. His mom likes it HOT so she goes full 20. I like it just gently warmed so 10 seconds is more than enough for me. Hope you found this useful!
I just made the protein oatmeal today only one serving of quick oats, 2 egg whites, a 100 cal pack of craisns and nuts and a banana I couldn’t even finish it was so filling. Abbeys taught me so much about hcc and I’m living for it.
I can tell I still have some disordered thoughts when it comes to food because I instinctively was horrified at the high calories in some of these breakfasts, especially Saturday. My first thought was "but then you could eat hardly anything the rest of the day." But honestly thank you for putting out these videos. Because of you, for the first time in my adult life I am regularly eating breakfast (usually oatmeal with fresh fruit and nuts) and I feel so much better all morning. Thank you Abbey!
Love these ideas!!! Classic yogurt bowl with Cheerios is one of my favs. Love the multi grain. The sweet potato was such a good idea- never thought of that for breakfast.
Definitely pinching a couple of these as dessert ideas! Please do quick/easy dessert ideas (so I can satisfy my evening sugar fix in a nutritious way without planning ahead 😁)
These sheet pancakes are SO good!! I make them regularly for my husband & I, and freeze leftovers for quick breakfast meals popped in the toaster, topped with yoghurt, berries, hemp hearts, crunchy pb & drizzle of maple syrup! YUM!🤤🤤
Ok I'm finally gonna try the egg white oats tomorrow. I've had this weird mental block like eggs and oats together sound gross. But that bowl looked so good! Apple pecan is my favorite 😋
I love watching breakfeast ideas. It is lovely to see that you can still have healthy choices to enjoy from a dietician points of view. I know I maybe a copy cut but if you eat it I know you already thought about the nutrition so I know it will be balance. So I eat it too knowing it can go into my body and fuel it right. Thanks
Oh YAS! My favorite cereal is Cheerios, and my favorite meal is breakfast. Here for this! Thank you for this Abbey! "You gotta get that peanut butter in there..." love it haha.
These breakfasts look absolutely amazing 😁 Definitely wouldn't feel deprived with these. I'm currently trying to lose weight and I'm trying not to cut out any food groups or eat boring food and these breakfasts look great! Would I still be able to lose weight eating these breakfasts? Also, please do a lunch, snack and dinner video or a what you eat in a day/week 😉
Is it too much to say that I love you? 😂 these are so practical & filling. More than that, your philosophy and expertise on food has helped me to become free from “diet rules”! I am satiated and enjoying my workouts/food/body/life even more! Thank you :)
@@AdamIsMyNameO not so creepy when you have tried everything to better your health and nothing seemed to click except for a licensed dietitian who is generous enough to share her expertise for free! Have a great day!
@@AdamIsMyNameO Lol not declaring anything. Just expressing my appreciation for what she does. I’ve struggled in great ways with my health which is none of your business but it has taken me over a decade to fully recover from my pain and diagnosis. So I’m sorry if my thankfulness bothers you so much! Today I am in full health and can live my life normally just the way that you probably do. Which is a blessing people take for granted. So if this makes me creepy, I ain’t too mad about it. Have a great weekend!
Before fixing my eating habits, I used to skip breakfast for years. Now I wish I could have breakfast three times a day 😂. Eating for the first time in the day is the best thing ever
I was going to ask what a good substitute would be instead of the cottage cheese for those of us who can’t have cottage cheese! Would oat milk work okay? Any other ideas or suggestions? Definitely want to try these sheet cake pancakes too 😋
Totally loving sheet pancakes right now! They are a Sunday morning tradition in our household too! We add chocolate chips to ours and then serve with mixed berry compote and coconut whipped cream. Yum!
Thank you for reminding us of the masterpiece that is friday by rebecca black. Although i have a feeling i will hate you in a couple of hours when its still stuck in my head 😂😂
i love how you can cook all of these meals, look so put together AND upload videos whilest also managing a life, having a baby/a whole family and a million other responsibilities like?? i can barely look after myself or get properly dressed these days 😭😂
so many people are afraid of the egg whites in the oats ha! I love it! Question because I'm curious, why do you whisk them first than whip in? Does it add to the texture??
She only had it once that week im sure its OK as she's mixing it up and getting abit of everything in her diet so she wouldn't worry about something like that
I am not a dietician, but I believe Abbey had the plain variety on her yogurt bowl. Also, I think when it comes to cereals with sugar you just have to balance it out with some protein and fat so the meal is more balanced. I wouldn’t worry about the sugar in Cheerios unless all you eat is Cheerios lol
@@ismt9390 pretty much...second video I have seen her hardcore push processed cereal. She is pushing that junk food for the almighty dollar and sadly these people believe this is healthy because she's a RU-vid "dietitian". She doesn't care about nutrition, she wants that promo money. Nutritionfacts.org is a real place to get evidence based nutrition and is non profit.
I have a protein bar and a coffee for breakfast 😂😂 I just can’t be eating or making anything fancy in the morning. My kids eat cereal every morning or toast 😂
I love this because it’s so real! We don’t have to obsess about eating healthy, we just need to change how we approach food and eat delicious meals like this ones! I’m vegan but definitely getting a lot of inspiration from all your recipes!!
I've discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I couldn't be happier! I love your energy and content so much, thanks for all the inspiration for breakfasts they look really yummy 😋❤️
I find it crazy that someone who is an expert in this field actually recommends Cheerios which is made from regular whole grains that have been heavily sprayed with roundup.
hey abby since i can tell you love peanut butter and im pretty sure you love sweet and salty treats here a pb maple pretzel recipe 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter 1/4 cup maple syrup as many pretzels needed 30-50 dip the pretzels in the peanut butter and put in freezer for 4-8 hours then dip into the maple and put back into freezer for 4-8 hours perfect dessert, snack, yogurt topping ect.
I just tried the proats and I loved it! I put freshly chopped pineapple and kiwi on top instead of apple with granola and hemp hearts and it was really good!
