@@LargeCalciferthe orissa and zarya ones are the easiest to counter! One of the first few i tried when playing him. People overlooked his platform a lot and just focused on his pull and heals which is a bit of a shame. A bit of creativity can go a looong way. My fav funny move is to send an ally bob up, or alternatively send an enemy bob up and get your team to stand directly under where bob lacks LoS (a bit niche but works)
i thought getting good at life weaver was about situational awareness, but now i know it’s about ballin, scoring half court shots, and being a literal menace
Well clearly it's about situational awareness too: some of those clips I had to slow down to 0.5x and watch at 1080p just to see what was going on. Like, how can you be aware of everything that's happening so well AND realize what you can do to screw the enemies over all at once?

2:28 was hands down such a GM move. Only hours and hours of playing can get your reaction time to be that strong. That doom thought he had you with that initial punch but your petal just lifted him into the heavens and you weaved that shit beautifully. Well done.
Tbh it’s been so long since i played a new character and they’re actually fun. LW is such a fun character to play if you understand how he works and everytime i save someone I genuinely feel proud and excited to play better. as a support player, Weaver and Mercy are so fun to play when you understand how to play them.

yeah honestly watching a montage of lifeweavers kit like this where it's just effectively using his abilities for crazy peel and utility is some of the most satisfying stuff next to watching some tanks play

Thank you for validating my reasoning for wanting to main LW in comp. I’m only in silver and SO many of these types of opportunities have happened which saved fights/rounds for my team.
his kit is so built for countering almost anything in the game, it feels so nice to see people malding in the all chat because: you just gripped someone out of [insert ult here] you just plataformed someone out of [insert skill here] (reinhardt shift feels the funniest of them all, since they always end up in your backline) a tree blocked their way B.O.B. just got a repositioning it's so dumb and I love it
As a LW main I love your content man it’s awesome and require so much skills to play this character like that the only down side about it is, overwatch doesn’t reward you in comp for all those moves with the petal, such as elimination or assist which I found sometimes sad. They should for exemple give you an assist if you bring bob up and bob gets 3 kills out of that LW is the perfect exemple to show how hard it is to climb in comp compare to other hero such as Lucio or bapt.
I see I‘m not even close to using this character to his full potential. You got some crazy and creative plays, hats to you my friend. Best thing I‘ve done so far on lifeweaver is blocking a hog hook with platform only to die 2 seconds later anyways xD
I always thought I understood lifeweaver’s capabilities well as someone who plays him a lot but I never thought the amount of things you can pull off by using his petal for the enemy! I was flabbergasted by the usage of petal for souls for your ally mercy. Definitely gonna have to try that out in matches. You’re amazing at LW.
