i asked my local corner shop "Do you have any interesting 50p coins?" they said NO .. but we do have some 10p coins.. so i got eight alphabets for four quid.. Always worth asking..

If the employee deliberately caused the error to occur then that would be a sackable offence under Gross Misconduct, otherwise it would be no worse than a verbal or written warning. I believe that after a verbal warning would come a written warning and then dismissal. So beware all you people out there working for the Royal Mint and make sure you are striking the coins in the correct manner, but hey ! that would take all the fun out of the coin searches, so keep on making those mistakes.😂

It was cruel of the royal mint to make so few alphabet coins

I have to say the quality of the Royal Mint products is terrible. I have purchased a handful of items and a high proportion have been substandard. One bunc set had a coin from the wrong year in it. Another bunc single had a bad finish with schmutz all over it. And being overseas, I find the exchange process painful. No more Royal Mint purchases from me!

pool tables and 50s I went to the post office to grab a few 50p bags she asked me what is it for ? and she wouldn't exchange my money in my wallet, she asked for my card then asked me, what is it for, again i thought i shouldn't have to disclose my intentions for my own money exchange? but i did . so i told her its for my friends pool table she said what, you want £50 of 50s for a pool table i wasn't lying anyways, it does take 50s and yes friends go round for sessions in the garden its a bit of fun plus the kids like using the mechanism coz its a proper clunker his neighbour moaned not to use at night due to the true noise a good pub pool table makes its noisy i will admit my friend left it to me when he passed away, i had no clue what to do with it so i called a friend, he said yes but he thought, his front room,,,, nope back garden it lives, ill tell you this, pool tables don't like being outside!! pot that red ball on one side of the table, it clunks about seven times with a large clunk on the 4th clunk its were the ball channels meet inside so we tried to pot balls only on one side that clunks the balls 3 times without the really loud clunk i have since put foam shocks on the points of contact, dampens the clunk to a thud, in a pub you can hear it, but its normally drowned in other noises then i told the other reason i feel lucky today a quick hunt for that special coin you might give me today! she made me feel uneasy asking? am i better going to bank lol cheers

I clean all mine with a toothbrush and washing up liquid how can that devalue them no one will ever know

I also believe if you want to clean your coin in your possession for your own collection without damaging it then crack on lol i love shiny cant help it
