Hey Auston, gotta say I'm loving your content! By the way, I just hit up Ho Chi Minh City a few weeks ago and despite the sweaty, sticky heat, I was totally digging it. Then I jetted off to Malaysia and WOW, what a country! Super developed, killer cuisine, and the locals are some of the friendliest folks I've ever met. Plus, practically everyone speaks English, so no language barrier to worry about. And don't even get me started on the prices - you won't believe how cheap everything is there! Bottom line: you gotta add Malaysia to your travel bucket list, my friend.

Suggestion: Get a attractive tour guide and visit 3 of the best Pho restaurants or ma and pa spots. Put the guide on the thumbnail and put American man try's pho in Vietnam for the title of the video. Have the guide breakdown the history and the preparation of the pho. Everybody loves pho so you would probably get a million views on that video.

You said you had diarrhea. The street food is not USDA approved. The sanitation might be a problem. I don’t eat street food in America. How do some relieve themselves? A big bottle, like a pickle bottle for #1 & #2. Spending a little extra to eat in a nice restaurant may definitely be worth it!

4 real! They're tryna hustle you. Being vietnamese born in America, I run into the same problems when I've gone back there. They know I'm not a local so they double or triple their prices on me. My cousins would get mad at me for paying too much so I would just let them do all the talking and negotiating. Sad to say but that's what happens when a country is under communist rule. The government don't take care of their people so they gotta do what they gotta do to come up. If they see a potential lick, they gonna try to hit. Stay safe my guy!

He real estate agents are regulated and I'm sure the listings are also posted online for verification. You should look up the advertised listings to make sure they wasn't trying to offer expat prices. The good news is you can buy over there and own 100 percent of the place.

on your first condo you showed your right Auston, they have new condos they're building north of salvador bahia about 30 minutes from the center and they're selling for about 335,000k reais which is around about 65k usd, and they are nice too.

Never buy a condo in Vietnam from a second owner, better to buy from a developer. Also apartments are priced according to location, 1 being the highest and 9 , the lowest .

I don't see the value in the apartment you saw. You can get better deals buying property in the country or ghetto areas of major cities here in the USA. For many of us, the ideal is to move somewhere where the dollar goes a long way and where the women appreciate you.

I believe the spaces were so much because the seller is targeting American buyers. If you still live in the states and you mortgage one and visit 2 months out the year and Airbnb the rest it essentially pays for itself . It’s a good investment if you plan to retire there …

One person eating at local restaurants and street vendors should cost you about $10 a day. Those apartments were small and very expensive for being overseas something doesn't seem right. Take the time explore enjoying yourself at your own pace when traveling. Always have several options planned for the day since it may not go according to plan. You can look online for things to do in your area your staying at. Don't be afraid to travel the less beaten path. Some of my best experiences came from stepping a little out of my comfort zone going with the flow. Be smart staying safe while overseas.

That was strange as hell!! My apt in the same city at the time was very similar. Also they made sure to show me the unit with Brand new appliances and fully furnished. $500 How the hell are they charging that much? I would be just as confused as he was.

@@beedavisjr I own a house in Thailand costing about 1.5 million baht. Those prices quoted in Vietnam were insane. Take a look at DDproperty online for renting or buying property in Thailand. You will find find nice places to buy starting at $30,000 USD and up. They have cheaper homes but are below my preferences.

Thank you and thank you again for showing respect to the woman and dress covering your shoulders. Bare shouldered is regarded as half naked and highly disrespectful and that is why you do not see the locals going half-naked. Ho Chi Minh is divided into districts with district 1, being downtown and very expensive but that apartment is exorbitant because about 10% is kicked back to the one who brought you there; districts 3,5, 8 etc., are next to district 1 and very much more reasonable; an exactly 2 beds apartment fully furnished is VND 7 to 9 Million per month paying your own power, water & internet
